3 PASTOR S MESSAGE 3 Dear Brothers and Sisters In the Gosepl today we read:.. As it is written in the book of the words of the prophet Isaiah: A voice of one crying out in the desert: Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight his paths. When a king proposed to tour a part of his dominions in the east, he sent a messenger before him to tell the people to prepare the roads. So John is regarded as the messenger of the King. But the preparation on which he insisted was a preparation of heart and of life. The King is coming, he said Mend not your roads, but your lives. There is laid on every one of us the duty to make life fit for the King to see. Conversion is a key moment in the interior life of every man. Conversion is a fundamental turning point which decides a change in the direction of our life. But there are also daily conversions, which can hardly be perceived externally and which concern apparently small problems, which, however, are important for the development of the human soul. Conversion means not only the passage from sin to grace but also the change of attitude by which every believer decides to change his life, to pass from tepidity to fervor, from ignorance to a deeper knowledge of God and his mystery of salvation. May our Lady grant us the grace to turn to God completely and never be separated from Him. May she grant us the strength to be courageous in proclaiming the message of conversion to the world. 4 DECEMBER 9, What does Advent mean? Advent is a time of waiting, expectation, and preparation for the birth of Jesus Christ, the world's savior, on Christmas Day. Advent is the beginning of the Church's liturgical year and is comprised of the four Sundays before Christmas culminating on Christmas Eve and marked by special seasonal devotions. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION The Blessed Sacrament for Adoration will be exposed every Tuesday through Friday starting at 7:30 am to 7:00 pm in Xavier Hall Chapel. Y encontramos a Pablo que medita gozosamente en lo que importa, en lo que realmente cuenta. De acuerdo con Baruc, la ciudad de Jerusalén es como una persona que en puntillas espera la salvación de Dios, que viene del Este. Los que fueron llevados a pie, con la cabeza gacha, regresan ahora orgullosos. Todo el camino está pavimentado. Al lado del camino hay árboles fragantes y frondosos.
