3 This weekend, we will have a Mass and meal for the High School Graduates at Precious Blood and St. Mary. The tradition has gone on for years and is a way for us to honor our parishioners who are going to begin a new stage in their lives. Some will go to college; some may stay here in the area and begin work and maybe even a family. Others may learn a trade, while some may decide on a life in the armed services. Some may be discerning a vocation to Priesthood or Religious Life. To each of them, the future is ahead and filled with many different opportunities. I encourage each one to become the best version of yourself and that is an authentic one, the being that God created you to be. To the parents of the graduates, teachers and all who helped educate and form these young people; I thank you from the depths of my heart and soul. The graduates this year are filled with talent and skill. They demonstrate good manners and etiquette. Several of them assist around the Altar in various ministries. We have encouraged them to get involved in their parish, we have empowered them to make a difference and they have! This year, it was an honor to teach and work with our Seniors in their Religious Education Class. I was able to witness the great men and women are parishioners have become. As a Pastor, I am overjoyed at the solid foundation they have in their Catholic faith. What a joy it is for me to watch people grow in their nature, becoming the person God called them to become. Already this weekend the famous graduation parties begin. Fr. Jeff and I will go to as many as time permits. We are so proud of each one of our graduates. Please join me and pray for them. Graduates, keep striving, never and I mean never accept mediocrity. Bloom where, (God) life plants you and make the most of the life given to you. Blessings and God love you. Father Gary Kaiser THANK YOU! The Ireland K of C would like to thank all the participants for making the 1st Annual Remembrance Walk an overwhelming SUCCESS!! More than 225 walkers participated in the event. All walkers enjoyed a wonderful breakfast and morning of fellowship. 100% of the funds raised will be used to purchase Teddy Bears that will be given to children in need. Also, the Ireland K of C would like to thank St. Mary for use of the Community Center and grounds as well as Father Jeff for the prayer before the walk! Wedding Banns Justin Reinbold & Jessica Eckert Pub I Cemetery News: Mowing in the cemetery has begun. Please remove any item on the ground in our cemetery. It is hard for the mowers to trim and it is beginning to look bad. Shepherds hooks not attached to the stone will be removed. The winds often blow items all over the cemetery, so please label your item so it can be put back on the stone it belongs on. If you do not have a headstone up on your lot, do so as soon as possible. At the time you purchased your plot, you were given a policy and regulation sheet that stated After the purchase of a lot or death of a loved one, a headstone must be in place within one year. Reminder letters will be mailed soon. Call the office if you have any questions. We would like to put together a committee to head up our 125th Anniversary of St. Mary Parish and the 200th Anniversary of Ireland. There will be various things going on and we want to get started as soon as we can. Call the parish office if you would like to volunteer or help organize upcoming events. Evening of Adoration on Friday, May 29 at 7:00pm C.D.T. at Holy Cross Church in Fort Branch. There will be an evening of adoration in celebration of the ordination to the Diaconate of Tyler Tenbarge. This time of prayer and worship before the Blessed Sacrament is an opportunity to pray for Tyler as he prepares for ordination the following day. A family of 3 whose Adjusted Gross Income in 2014 was $55,750 or below could be eligible to receive a School Choice Scholarship. A family of 3 whose Adjusted Gross Income in 2014 was $74,333 or below could be eligible to receive a $500 Tax Credit Scholarship. It is that time of the year when the CPC (Catholic Parish Campaign) drive is going on. We are not having a CPC drive but have added the amount needed to our budget. This year our CPC amount is $177,686. Please help us meet our weekly budget by continuing to give. If you would like to change your automatic giving or you would like to do this instead of receiving monthly envelopes, give me a call in the parish office. Thanks for your stewardship to our parish. Call the parish office for details. St. Mary Preschool Our Year 2 students have been busy practicing for the graduation ceremony. Our theme for graduation is Oh, The Places You ll Go! by Dr. Seuss. We worked on a project where each child told us some of the things they d like to do when they grow up. WOW our students have some big dreams! I sure hope they have the determination to make their dreams come true. I definitely believe they can!! We have learned a lot about Jesus this year in our Bible stories. Luckily, it doesn t have to end just because school will be out soon. Martha and Connie stopped by our classroom and talked to our students about Vacation Bible School! Most of our students were part of Vacation Bible School last year. They were eager to sign up and come back this summer as well! Ms. Lauren 4

The league is open to men of the parish who are 16 years or older or any Ireland K of C member.
