3 Building For Our Future Drop off your aluminum cans on the trailer in the parking lot. The Building For Our Future Campaign would like to reach out to former parishioners who might have an interest in giving to the new church. If you have a friend or relative who you think might be interested in making a donation, please let the parish office know. We will be glad to get information out to them. Embroidered St. Mary Church hats in the parish office for $5. December 17: Breakfast with Santa and our Cookie/Candy Walk. Come and enjoy breakfast, see Santa and get your cookies and candies for Christmas. Lots of goodies for your families, co-workers, teachers and neighbors. If you can help out by baking/making some goodies for that day, it will be appreciated. Stop by and see our Theme Baskets in the parish office. They will be given away December 17 after Breakfast with Santa and the Cookie/ Candy Walk. Tickets will be available at the K of C and St. Anne Christmas parties. It is located in the Parish Center on the campus of Precious Blood Parish. Please spend an hour with Jesus. The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary (Patronal Feastday of the United States of America). Mass times are: (Vigil) Thursday, December 7 at 6:00pm (there will be no Thursday morning Mass) and Friday, December 8 at 7:00am (the Mass will be over so the kids can make it to school). This is a Holy Day of Obligation. The Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary - Mary was conceived without original sin or its stain - that s what immaculate means: without sin. She was preserved from the first instant of her existence and was in the state of sanctifying grace and free from sin. Saturday [12/09]: No Confessions before the 4:30pm Mass. Sunday [12/10]: Religious Retirement Collection - Envelope can be found in your monthly packet. St. Vincent de Paul Meeting and Gift Basket Making in the back of the cafeteria after the 10:00am Mass. This will be the only meeting in December. Deanery Penance Service 4:00pm at St. Ferdinand Church. *In your envelope packet is a red envelope for Christmas Flowers. If you would like to make a donation in memory of a deceased loved one, please use this envelope and include their name. If you do not receive monthly envelopes, just use a white envelope and put Christmas Flowers on the outside. Money collected will be used to beautify the church during the Christmas season and throughout the year. **2018 Calendars, 2018 Irish Sweepstakes Tickets, One Bread, One Body Books and The Little Blue Book (6- minute reflections on the Infancy Narrative of Matthew) can be found in the back of church on the tables. These books can be used for the Christmas-Advent season. ***We are in need of volunteers to lead the Rosary before the 10:00am Mass. Need more tickets, stop by the parish office and pick them up. The American Red Cross and the Ireland K of C would like to say Thank You to everyone who took the time to give blood on Sunday, November 26. The Red Cross collected 34 unites and cannot thank you enough. The next blood drive is set for April 5. The Angel Tree is up in the back of church. This year, we are helping a few local families, special needs adults in a handicap home and homebound adults. There will be items/suggestions on the back of each angel. You do not have to purchase every item - just buy what you can afford. Please, do not wrap your gift(s). Just return the angel and the gift in a bag to the parish office or drop off in the back of church by December 4. This will give us time to wrap and distribute the gifts. If your situation changes and you cannot buy the items on the angel, please put the angel back on the tree for someone else to take. Do not like to shop, but want to help? Bring your monetary donation to the parish office or drop in the collection basket marked angel tree and one of our elves will shop for you. Thanks in advance for your help with this ministry. *If your angel has a toy that seems like it is for a young child but the clothing size is big, remember this is for an adult with special needs. The Sacrament of Marriage and Catholic Parenting are great gifts. They are filled with joy and fulfillment as well as sacrifice and struggle. Resources, information and encouragement are now available via . Join other married couples and parents in the diocese who are already a part of this new venture.
