2 OCTOBER 2, :00am Worship A Meal to Remember Matthew 21:33-46 Exodus 20 6:00pm Sunday Night Kaffee Phrases from Parke... The senior adults had a great trip to Myrtle Beach last week. Margaret & I really enjoyed our time with them. The food was great! The shows at the Pirates Voyage and The Alabama Theatre were outstanding. The fellowship was beyond compare! There were several along who were not members of our church. Our folks did a great job of representing our church and our Savior throughout the trip. We missed Jake & Wanda Lowe. We thank them for the traditions they keep going for our church and hope they will be able to go next year. The Sanctuary Choir has begun work on our Christmas Cantata Night of the Father s Love. Now would be a great time to join us. Several folks have let me know they would like to join the choir. Come try us out for the Fall & Christmas season. See you Wednesday at 7:00pm. We rehearse until about 8:30pm. We will be presenting the cantata on Sunday December 4 th at 6:00pm. Mark your calendars and begin to invite your friends now. You will not want to miss this celebration of the awe and mystery of God with us. Advent is a time of preparation. Make this evening a highlight of your advent plans this year. We celebrate the Lord s Supper this Sunday. These are always special times of worship when we gather around the Lord s Table. See you Sunday, singing God s song, Parke Abingdon Baptist Church Goal $5,000.00
