Sweet Reminder Be sure to get your ticket(s) today for Sweet Reminder, a fun-filled evening with live entertainment featuring treasured melodies from the 30 s, 40 s and 50 s. Many thanks to our Social Events Committee for bringing back Legacy Girl singers Nancy Baumet and Dia Madden on Friday, January 20th in Paluch Hall. The evening will begin with a cocktail hour at 6pm followed by a delicious meal and show. Don t miss out on what will surely be a delightful evening. Movie and Discussion Today This Sunday, January 15th, Cardinal Blase J. Cupich will be hosting a discussion after the 4:45 p.m. showing of the movie Silence at the Music Box Theatre, 3733 North Southport Avenue in Chicago. Martin Scorsese's film Silence is an adaptation of Shūsaku Endō's 1966 novel. This film adaptation tells the story of Jesuit missionaries in 17th century Japan who accompanied the Catholic Japanese population amidst their persecution. Cardinal Cupich will be hosting a conversation and reflection with the audience after the film. This is a unique cultural opportunity for the Chicago Catholic community to experience together.
