Thank you to everyone who attended and volunteered your time and energy towards this amazing event. Without your help, and dedication, none of this would have been possible. Our goal was $10,000 and I am so proud to say that we made just OVER $10,000! We have expenses to deduct, but tried out hardest to keep that at less than $700. Coupled with generous donations from Trinity Church and the Santa Barbara Fire Department we raised more money than ever at this event. 8 PSALM 104:25-35, 37 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom you have made them all; the earth is full of your creatures. Yonder is the great and wide sea with its living things too many to number, creatures both small and great. There move the ships, and there is that Leviathan, which you have made for the sport of it. All of them look to you to give them their food in due season. You give it to them; they gather it; you open your hand, and they are filled with good things. You hide your face, and they are terrified; you take away their breath, and they die and return to their dust. You send forth your Spirit, and they are created; and so you renew the face of the earth. May your glory, O LORD, endure for ever; may you rejoice in all your works. You look at the earth and it trembles; you touch the mountains and they smoke. I will sing to the LORD as long as I live; I will praise my God while I have my being. May these words of mine please you; I will rejoice in the LORD. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Hallelujah! THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU. Bill and I are grateful for all of the love, care, notes, cards, gifts and kindness we have received these last weeks. Our hearts are filled with gratitude beyond measure for all who were so generous in the gifts of their time from Bach to the Beatles, to our Community Celebration to May 1. It was all an expression of what is best about Trinity. Thank you, Mark and Bill COMMUNION ANTHEM TEXT God be in my head, and in my understanding; God be in mine eyes, and in my looking; God be in my mouth, and in my speaking; God be in my heart, and in my thinking; God be at mine end, and at my departing.
