Feast of All Saints and All Souls, November 5 This year, in recognition of our name day, we will celebrate a combined Feast of All Saints and All Souls with one combined High Mass at 10 a.m. on Sunday, November 5. Following the Mass we will gather in the parish hall for an all-parish potluck, with foods that remind us of those we love but see no longer. Dates will be announced in The Weekly. Reading with the Rector Our mission as Christians is to manifest God s love in the world and transform the powers and principalities of evil and hate into instruments of peace and justice. Father Jadon has asked us to read and discuss two books this fall (pictured below) following the events that unfolded in Charlottesville earlier this year. He will reflect on them from time to time in his preaching and make opportunities for us to discuss them together in special forums and/or mini-retreats. 9
