The service will include music/ carols, inspirational thoughts, Holy Communion and a candle lighting service that will touch your heart. Bring the whole family (we have a special time for the children), extended family and friends, and make this Christmas Eve a night to remember. Don t miss this wonderful celebration on this holy night.

Youth: Please bring a wrapped $10 (or less) gift for Dirty Santa. Tuesday: HS Breakfast Bojangles, 7:30am Sunday: Christmas Day- No Catalyst. Will resume 1/8 with Small Groups. STAFF CHRISTMAS LOVE OFFERING: Again this year, the Staff-Parish Committee wants to give the congregation an opportunity to contribute to a love offering for the church staff of Ivan, Susan, June, Emily, Debby, and Toni. This is the last Sunday we will present this opportunity. The money collected will be divided and presented before Christmas. All proceeds for this year s cook-off will benefit the youth, college student and adult participants going to Guatemala in June Save the date for this fundraiser & tell all of your loved ones - January 29th, 6-8pm. You will also be able to sign up after each service in the month of January. END OF YEAR CONTRIBUTIONS: Federal law requires that all contributions to LUMC must be either in our hands by December 31st or, if mailed, post-marked on or before December 31st in order to qualify the giver for a tax deduction in Gifts received which don t meet these requirements will be gratefully accepted and credited to STEWARDSHIP MOMENT: We are blessed with many opportunities to help the ministries of our church with financial gifts. One way that is often overlooked but that is relatively simple and painless is a gift of appreciated stock. The process is a win-win for many because of possible tax treatment and other factors. (Consult your tax professional for advice, of course.) Please consider this opportunity. If you do intend to participate, contact the church office or a member of the finance team so the gift can be matched with the donor for pledge credit.
