The Lord s Supper will be served. The Lord s Supper is observed every Lord s Day at Faith Presbyterian Church alternating between morning evening services. The officers have wanted retain evening communion not only because all Lord s Suppers explicitly mentioned in New Testament were in evening, but as well reinforce importance of Sunday evening worship as a regular part of observance of Lord s Day. Dave Miller Family Arrival The CHS School Board is happy report that our new principal, Dave Miller, family are moving Gig Harbor in midjune will begin worshiping with us at Faith. Mr. Miller officially begins work at CHS on August 1st. We, as Covenant High School Board, would like remind CHS families in congregation respect Mr. Miller s Lord s Days as time away from CHS duties, we request that you do not try talk with him about CHS issues or concerns on Sundays. Christian Education Assistance Covenant High School has been a ministry of Faith Presbyterian for more than two decades, based on conviction that a Christian education is an important means of discipling our children in fundamentals of our faith instilling in m a love for Christ Scriptures. At Covenant, each subject is taught with highest possible stards for excellence with open acknowledgement that God is Lord of t area of study as well as any or. Wher ry, mamatics, science or literature, God is sovereign working out advancement of His kingdom on t earth using fallible people for His glory. Or Christian schools exist in our community, founded under similar convictions, like Covenant have served needs of our families. 8 Dr. Sam Rotman in Concert, Worldclass Pianist June 20, 7:00 p.m., at FPC Mark your calendar for an evening of music for whole family. Sam Rotman (samrotman.com) will present an evening of music. 9 College & Career Community Groups College & Career is a young adult ministry of Faith Presbyterian Church. The goal is provide opportunities for young adults 18 older, wher single or married, do life ger throughout week form deep Christian friendships. C&C Community Groups are weekly small groups that meet in a home for dinner fellowship. We currently have two established groups: one that meets on Tuesday at Caleb Tamala Bestvater s home at 7 pm one that meets on Thursday at Nate Rachael Shelden s home at 6:30 pm.
