2 March 17, :30 and 11a.m. ORDER OF WORSHIP Usher Sunday Gathering Music Fantasia on Salvation David Paxton Call to Worship (11:00) God Made My Feet Purdy/Taylor Young Musicians Choir Ms. Amanda Price, Conductor; Ms. Jan Appling, Accompanist Welcome and Announcements (Please complete and pass the red friendship pad at this time.) Prelude Erin Isle Sketches, Movement I Elliot Del Borgo Oak Grove Orchestra *Hymn of Praise Come, Thou Fount of Every Blessing UMH 400 *Affirmation of Faith written by 2019 Confirmation Class (8:30) Mr. Charlie Hardy (11:00) Ms. Mary Paris Smith We believe that God created everything and everything has a purpose. We believe that God loves us so much that he sent his only son to spread peace during his ministry before dying for our sins. We trust and believe that the Holy Spirit is our comforter and helps us understand each other and our faith. We wholly believe that God is our loving, graceful, kind creator. He sent his son Jesus, our Messiah and a fye* example. When Jesus ascended into heaven he left his Holy Spirit who guides and teaches us in our daily life. We experience God in our lives through loving and caring for others, through spreading the gospel, baptism, and being active members in worship, in our church, and in our community. *Fye: is a youth slang term that is short for fire. It is used to describe someone who is excellent, or in a state of excitement. *Gloria Patri UMH 71 Glory be to the Father and to the Son and to the Holy Ghost; as it was in the beginning, is now, and ever shall be, world without end. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever. Amen. Our Tithes & Offerings Die Zaubekflöte KV 620 W. A. Mozart The Magic Flute Overture arr.
