Germantown Elementary Needs Our Help: Every Thursday afternoon, we re looking for someone to deliver 23 pieces of fruit to the school by 2:00 pm. Once a month, Germantown would also appreciate toiletries delivered in addition to the fruit. We will donate a different item each month. The sign-up sheet is available in the church office. Please provide your name and contact information for the date(s) you will be able to deliver the items to Germantown. Thank you to all who have already signed up to provide fruit and toiletries. Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes: There are still shoeboxes at all of the exits if you haven t gotten one or think you could fill another one. If you are filling multiple boxes, you can put all the money in just one of the boxes and make checks out to Samaritan s Purse. Go online and you can track where your box(es) go. Please return all filled boxes to Trinity by this coming Wednesday, November 9. Pumpkin Patch: Friday October 28 was Trinity s day to man the Pumpkin Patch to raise money for the Light House. We sold about $1,600 worth of pumpkins (believed to be a Trinity record). A big thank you to the shift teams of Raymond and Pat King, and Jim and Claudia Johnson who made the day a success. All the pumpkins were sold before Halloween, and after costs were paid, almost $1,400 was given to the Light House. Altar Flowers: If you d like to dedicate flowers for someone special or for the Glory of God, there are two ways to do so. First, there s an Altar Flower form at the back of the Sanctuary. You can fill that out & leave it with an usher or on the Office Manager s desk. Second, you can fill in your name under a date in the floral calendar in the hallway outside the Sanctuary heading towards the elevator. There is a $20 fee which pays for the fresh flowers. You can put the fee in an envelope marked Altar Flowers and give to an usher or attach to the form and leave on the Office Manager s desk.

6 Chancel Choir News: The Chancel Choir is starting rehearsals for the Christmas Cantata, to be performed at both services on December 18, the Sunday before Christmas. We welcome new singers at our Wednesday night rehearsals, starting at 7:30 pm. We always practice the Cantata at the beginning of the rehearsal in case you need to leave early. We promise you good music, good fun, and good fellowship! Please join us if you can. See you next Wednesday!
