1 Extra-Ordinary Ministers of May God Bless and Protect our men and women in the armed forces. Holy Communion, Lectors and Servers The next schedule cycle for the Ministries Schedule will begin on the weekend of May 28 /29 ( Sixth Sunday of Easter) and continue through July 17 (Sixteenth Sunday of Ordinary Time). SPECIAL COLLECTION On May 4 th Archbishop Dolan, President of the USCCB, sent a letter to the bishops asking them to consider taking up a special collection for those in need and the Church that has been severely affected by the recent tornados that devastated many states from Arkansas to Virginia. Unfortunately, this damage occurred in many mission dioceses that do not enjoy the blessing of substantial financial resources. Our diocese will participate in this collection the weekend of May Funds from the Tornado Recovery Collection will be used to support the effort of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops and Catholic Charities USA, the national office for local Catholic Charities agencies and affiliates nationwide, as they respond to immediate emergency needs for such necessities as water, food, shelter and medical care, as well as to the long term need to rebuild after widespread destruction, and to the pastoral and reconstruction needs of the Church in the areas affected by the tornados. Triumph of the Cross will take a second collection, after communion, to assist our brothers and sisters in Christ. Place your contribution in the basket. There is no special envelope for this collection. 2 SACRAMENTS Sacramental Information and registration forms are available at parish web-site Baptism Baptism Preparation Sessions are held the 1 st Sunday of each month from 2 p.m. 3:30 p.m. in the Marian Room at Holy Rosary Church.
