2 TRIUMPH OF THE CROSS PARISH COMMUNITY NEWS CHURCH DECORATION REMOVAL: After the celebration of the Baptism of the Lord on Sunday, January 13 we return to Ordinary Time on the Church calendar. We will need to remove the Christmas decorations and rearrange the poinsettias. Volunteers are invited to help on the following dates and times: * Monday, January 14 after the 8:30 a.m. Mass at Holy Rosary Church * Tuesday, January 15 about 8:00 a.m. at Holy Name Cathedral We thank everyone who will be here to assist. PERPETUAL ADORATION CHAPEL: We are most thankful that the Holy Spirit touched so many hearts that on Sunday afternoon, January 6 th we had received enough phone calls of volunteers to maintain our perpetual adoration schedule. Thank you for listening to the Holy Spirit in your life. Some of you may have been thinking, I should call and do this - DO IT! Only the evil one rejoices when we procrastinate and do not respond to the promptings of the Holy Spirit. Is there a certain longing in your heart to check out vocations to the priesthood, being a sister, brother or entering the consecrated life? Do you have a desire for more information about vocations in general as a student, parent, or catechist? Then come to one of the Diocesan Vocation Awareness Events being offered on January 14 and 15. You will hear vocation stories of priests and sisters, have discussion, receive answers to your questions and be able to share your thoughts with Bishop Monforton. These events will take place at Holy Rosary Church Auditorium on Monday, January 14, 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. or at St. Mary s Church Basement, Marietta on Tuesday January 15 th 2013 at 7:00 p.m. to 8:30p.m. All of us are partners in fostering vocations for our diocese and for building a culture of vocations in our parishes and schools.
