The Little White Book Complimentary copies of The Little White Book for the Easter Season will be distributed after Mass this weekend, Mar The Little White Book, published by the Diocese of Saginaw, offers six-minute reflections on the weekday Gospels of Easter. Any remaining books will be at the back of Church. For further information, contact Joan Purcell at (610) Footsteps to the Cross Contemporary Stations of the Cross with Bethany Music Ministry will take place this Sunday, Mar. 20, 7:30 p.m. at St. Titus. Footsteps is a prayerful meditation told through Scripture, narration and music. All are welcome. Giver of Life Blood Drive Our next parish blood drive will be Wednesday, Mar. 23, 2-7 p.m. in Grady Hall (Holy Rosary Regional Catholic School gym). All who are at least 17 years old, weighing 110 lbs or more, and are in good health, are encouraged to donate blood frequently. The Red Cross will be accepting DOUBLE RED BLOOD CELLS at this drive. This process takes about 20 minutes longer. Blood types needed are O and B. Donors must meet the following minimums: Males: 130 lbs & 5 1 tall; females: 155 lbs & 5 5 tall; all donors must have iron levels at or above 40%. Donation interval is 16 weeks. If you are anemic (have low iron), you can increase your red cell count by eating red meat, fish, poultry, liver, iron-fortified cereals, beans, raisins and prunes. If you have specific questions about your eligibility, call the Red Cross at GIVE LIFE. Please complete the form below and return it via the collection basket or the mail slot located in the front door of the parish office. Please remember to bring a valid I.D. with you. 4 Easter Triduum Since Christ accomplished his work of human redemption and of the perfect glorification of God principally through his Paschal Mystery, in which by dying he has destroyed our death, and by rising restored our life, the sacred Paschal Triduum of the Passion and Resurrection of the Lord shines forth as the high point of the entire liturgical year. Therefore the preeminence that Sunday has in the week, the Solemnity of Easter has in the liturgical year. The Paschal Tridiuum of the Passion and Resurrection of the Lord begins with the evening Mass of the Lord s Supper, has its center in the Easter Vigil, and closes with Vespers (Evening Prayer) on the Sunday of the Resurrection (Universal Norms, 18-19). Youth Group Triduum Holy Thursday Kick-Off Serve, feast, pray and play with our youth group on Thursday, Mar. 24, at 1 p.m. until the end of the 7 p.m. Liturgy. For more information, visit Good Friday Ecumenical Service You are invited to attend an Ecumenical Prayer Service, sponsored by the Plymouth-Whitemarsh Ministerium, on Good Friday, Mar. 25, beginning at noon in the Church on the Mall. Clergy from various denominations will present meditations on the Seven Last Words of Christ on the Cross. Voter Registration Christians have a duty to be politically active, to register and vote, and to speak up about issues that affect the common good. We have the opportunity to vote for a pro-life president who could defund Planned Parenthood and could appoint multiple pro-life Supreme Court judges. Last day to register to vote before the primary election is Monday, Mar. 28. Registration materials and absentee ballots are available in the church vestibule or online at SurePortalHome.aspx. Annual Run for Life Save the date! A Baby s Breath s annual Run for Life will take place on Saturday, Apr. 16, at Norristown Farm Park. Participants can chose to run the 5k or, walk or wheel the 1 mile loop. Pre-register by Thursday, Mar. 31, at Retreat for Caregivers The Marianist Family Retreat Center in Cape May Point, NJ, is hosting a retreat for caregivers of medically fragile or special needs family members and to those adult children now caring for their aging parents the weekend of Apr Cost: $135/person, double occupancy. Both first-time parents must attend a Pre-Jordan class, which is held the first Wednesday of every month. Pre-Registration for the class is required by contacting the parish office. Sponsors not from Epiphany are required to submit a Certificate of Eligibility from their parish two weeks prior to the Baptism. Marriage Notify the priest of your intention to marry at least six months before the date of the wedding to assure sufficient preparation and to arrange for Pre-Cana sessions.
