Baptism Baptisms are celebrated after the 11:30 a.m. Mass every Sunday, upon request. Both first -time parents need to attend a Pre-Jordan class, which is held the first Wednesday of every month. Pre-Registration for the class is required by contacting the Parish Office. Sponsors not from Epiphany are required to submit a Certificate of Eligibility from their parish two weeks prior to the Baptism. Marriage Notify the priest of your intention to marry at least six months before the date of the wedding to assure sufficient preparation and to arrange for Pre-Cana sessions. To mark this milestone event, Amigos de Jesús will be the beneficiary of this year s concert. Amigos de Jesús is a home and bilingual school for children in Honduras. It was founded 19 years ago by Father Dennis O Donnell, a priest from Philadelphia, and Anthony and Christine Granese. The home is a safe haven with shelter, food and education for over 150 children. Amigos de Jesús aims to walk alongside its children from the time they arrive until the time that they are ready to move out into the world as adults prepared for responsibility and citizenship within their country of origin. Thanks to our many past and present dedicated musicians, supporters, volunteers and Board of Directors, Gaudeamus has been able to award $10,000 in scholarships for 2016 to students who have made a marked difference in their communities through their volunteerism. Gaudeamus was also pleased to assist a family in financial need by paying their children s Catholic school tuitions. While supporting the educational needs of local students is our paramount mission, we also continue to provide assistance to children with medical needs by partnering with Angel Flight East, a local non-profit organization providing free air transportation to critically ill patients.
