BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING: Camillus Ministry blood pressure screening is held NEXT weekend in the parish center after all Masses. WEEKEND SCRIPTURE CLASS-ST. MARY, MILTON: Classes will begin September 16 at 9:00 a.m. in the Ark. Learn new twists and insights of Jesus teachings. Understand the background of people and particular biblical situations that give deeper meaning to the Sunday readings week-by-week. Grow in faith and gospel living as a follower of Jesus Christ. However, how often is our generosity at the minimum level required? We do just enough or give just enough. Remember, the Lord calls us to be generous with all the gifts He has given us, to grow them and return them with increase. 8 TAIZE PRAYER: As summer draws to a close and the rhythms of school and fall routines begin, we look forward to a return to a time apart at Nativity of Mary, Janesville that is at once familiar and new. September Taize Prayer will be celebrated on September 8 at 7:00 p.m., the Feast of the Nativity of Mary. Our time together will offer a chance to un-crowd our hearts and minds and simply be in God s presence. Come and bask in the light of candles, raise your voice in simple and prayerful songs, and listen tin silence for God to speak to your heart. Come to Nativity for a peaceful and enriching prayer experience. ADULT CATHOLIC SPIRIT CLUB: Where did the summer go? It s time to see old friends and perhaps meet new ones at The Adult Catholic Spirit Club. We meet on Wednesday, September 10 at St. John Vianney Marian Hall. A potluck dinner will be served and you are asked to bring a dish to share, along with your own table service. 10 Harvest Bazaar News SAINT MARY HARVEST BAZAAR 2014 Saturday, October 18 Harvest 5K Run/ Fall Kolor 5K Bean Bag Tournament Sunday, October 19 Dinner and Drawings Website: Explore the Harvest Bazaar tab on our parish website for registration forms, listing of our sponsors and more. Follow this link: Harvest Bazaar 5K Run & Fall Kolor 5K: This year our Run/Walk has changed a bit to make it more fun and exciting. The 5K timed/competitive run will continue as in the past for our serious runners. New this year is the FALL KOLOR 5K. Throughout this run/walk an explosion of color will be tossed on your clean white shirt until you cross the finish line. Sunglasses or swim goggles are recommended; tutus are optional. Bean Bag Toss Tournament: Following the 5K Run, join us in the parking lot as the Bean Bag Toss gets underway. Registration Forms are available online and at the parish office. Mini Raffles: Any and all items are welcome!! Sign up sheets for Theme Baskets and Children s Raffle items are located in the Gathering Space.
