6 Wedding Anniversary Celebration What Anniversary are You Celebrating in 2015? This event is nvitation only! Bishop Robert Morlino will be recognizing married couples celebrating 50, 55, 60 or more years of marriage AND the first 3 years of marriage. Sunday, August 16 Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Monona The event will start at 2:00 pm with a Mass of Thanksgiving followed by a cake, coffee, and punch reception. Please notify Vicki in the parish office by April 27 that you will be celebrating your Special Anniversary in the calendar year of 2015 and your name will be submitted to the Bishop s office. Submissions are due by April 27 AGRACE VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNI- TIES: In April, Agrace will offer volunteer orientation for those interested in making a difference in the lives of others. Orientations will be held Wednesday, April 29 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at Agrace, 2901 N. Wright Road, Janesville. Prior to attending orientation, prospective volunteers will complete an application and an interview process with Agrace s volunteer Services staff to identify the volunteer s skills and interests. 10 APRIL IS ALCOHOL AWARENESS MONTH: According to the NCADD (National Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence), Alcohol Awareness Month was founded to increase public awareness and understanding aimed at reducing the stigma associated with alcoholism that too often prevents individuals and families from seeking help. Nearly 18 million adults in the US suffer from alcohol abuse or dependence that s 1 in every 12 adults. More than 7 million children live in a household where at least one parent is dependent on or has abused alcohol. Alcoholism places an enormous emotional, physical, and financial burden on family members and children of the person who is addicted to alcohol. If you know someone who struggles with alcohol addiction, you can turn to Hope Haven, a non-profit of Catholic Charities of the Diocese of Madison. Hope Haven, located in Madison, treats hundreds with alcohol and drug addiction effectively and affordably each year. Our residential treatment programs for adults address all issues related to addiction and recovery. WHAT IS CONSECRATED LIFE?
