Second Collection This weekend, April 8th & 9th, there will be a second collection for the Church in Africa. Divine Mercy Novena The Divine Mercy Novena begins on Good Friday. Fr. Stan s Book Club The discussion for Eyewitness to Jesus Amazing New Manuscript Evidence About the Origin of the Gospels, will be held on Tuesday, May 2nd at 6:30pm and Thursday, May 4th at 9:30am. Confirmation for Baptized Catholic Adults Active Catholics who have not yet been Confirmed are strongly encouraged to receive this sacrament on Pentecost Sunday, June 4, 2017 at the 10:30am Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Indianapolis. St. Louis/St. Anthony Haiti Ministry We are still looking for people to fill several spots on our summer medical/dental trip to Gandou, Haiti from June 26 to July 4. We really need one or two more providers (physician, nurse practitioner, physician s assistant). If you know anyone who may be interested, we d be happy to talk with them. We also need a pharmacist or two, a nurse or two, and several support people. If you are interested in more information, please call Jennifer or Joe at Holy Thursday Volunteers Needed Participants are needed for the foot washing at the Holy Thursday Mass on April 13th at 6:30pm. Both men and women, 8th grade and older, are invited to volunteer. Please call the parish office if you would like to participate. Adoration Chapel Information Easter is quickly approaching and the Adoration Chapel will be closed for the Easter Triduum. This means the Chapel closes at 6:30pm for Holy Thursday Mass but adoration will continue from 7:30pm until midnight in the Parish Activity Center. The scheduled adorers for 7:00pm thru 11:00pm should plan to be in the Activity Center for their hour. The Chapel will reopen at noon on Easter Sunday. There is an open hour for the Adoration Chapel on Saturday 12:00pm. If you are able to sub for this open hour, sign up outside the Adoration Chapel. If you are able to fill this open hour, call Christy Mass Schedule Change There will be NO 6:00pm MASS on Tuesday, April 11th. All are welcome to attend the Chrism Mass at SS. Peter and Paul Cathedral, Indianapolis at 2:00pm. Votive Candles All votive candles in the grotto will be extinguished on Holy Thursday and relit after the Easter Vigil. Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for parents who are having their first child Baptized. The next class will be offered on Tuesday, April 18th at 7:00pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. Please call the parish office to register Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be held on Sunday, May 7th, from 9:00am to 12:15pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. There is a $40.00 fee for books and materials.
