Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service St. Louis Catholic Church will be the host church for the Thanksgiving Ecumenical Service on Sunday, November 20th at 7:00pm. Join your neighbors in a celebrative service of thanksgiving and praise led by area clergy. Catholic Campaign for Human Development Collection Next weekend, November 19 & 20, we will take up a collection for the Catholic Campaign for Human Development (CCHD). The CCHD works to be a voice of hope for those on the margins of society who experience the realities of living in poverty. Your donation will help build a society where all have a voice and all know their inherent dignity. Christmas Flowers Anyone wishing to memorialize a loved one at Christmas, may do so by donating to the flower fund. Coping With Grief During the Holidays The Bereavement Ministry of St. Mary s, Greensburg, invites you to a very special program on coping with grief during the holidays. 5 F a m i l i e s Helping Families Families Helping Families (FHF) is a group of local churches and organizations who assist children in the Batesville School District during the Christmas season. Just as the Wise Men shared their gifts with the Infant Jesus, FHF wants to allow people to share their gifts with others this Christmas season. Please look for our new FHF signs at the church entrances. How can you help? Pray Your prayers are requested for the families in our community who are struggling and find themselves in need at this time of year. We also ask for prayers for all of those who are involved in this program to make sure all children in our Batesville community have a Christmas. Gift Tags Each tag represents one child s wishes. Please purchase all items on the tag. If you are unable to find a tag that fits your level of giving, perhaps you can partner with a family member or friend. We appreciate that tags are taken, but please fulfill the wishes on the tag if you choose to take one. Please place the unwrapped gifts in a bag with the tag attached. If the gifts are too large, please duplicate the tag and attach a tag to each item. The numbers and letters on the tags are very important for matching the gift to the correct child. All gifts are due back Sunday, December 4 th. Monetary Donations If you would like to make a monetary donation, please take a special envelope from the FHF basket. Check can be written payable to St. Louis Church and specifying FHF on the check. All donations can be placed in the collection basket at church or dropped off at the parish office. There are volunteer shoppers who use the donations to fulfill the wishes of leftover tags.
