As a parish, we raised $ for four agencies that serve the poor and those living on the edge of society all over the world. Feast of St. Joseph St. Joseph, Spouse of the Blessed Virgin Mary Monday, March 19 th Mass at 8:30am Joseph was a man who always listened to the voice of God; he was a man attentive to the messages that came to him from the depths of his heart and from God. He did not persist in following his own plan for his life, but rather, he was ready to make himself available to what God was asking of him. Mass at 5pm followed by a pizza dinner and a bible study on Holy Week. We know it s Spring Break week for some students, but we wanted to make sure to have an opportunity for teens who aren t traveling or on break. Edge this week (March 21st) 6-7:15pm at St. Joseph (please enter the door on the bottom of the ramp) No Edge next week (March 28 th ) because of the Sedar Meal at Corpus Christi. We want families and teenagers to have the opportunity to attend that dinner. Sacrament of Confirmation for Adults For eight consecutive weeks stating on Tuesdays: April 3 (5:45 7:45PM) Penny Biwer will offer classes for adults who are interested in receiving the Sacrament of Confirmation. Classes will be offered on the following dates: April 3, 10, 17, and 24; May 1, 8, 15, and 22, at St. Joseph Faith Formation Center. This program will prepare individuals to be confirmed at the Diocesan Confirmation Mass on Pentecost Sunday May 20. For more information, call Penny at as soon as possible. Stop in and take a look! Hard cover books - $25.00 As we celebrate 150 years of Catholic faith as the Diocese of Green Bay, we would like to highlight bits of our own history. In 1903, the chime of the three bells was purchased. The chime of the three bells has been purchased for St. Joseph s church and is expected every day from the Stuckstede Bell Foundry of St. Louis. The large bell weighs 1,540 pounds complete with hangings 2,100 pounds. This will be known as St. Joseph s bell. The second bell which is donated by the pastor, weighs 825 pounds or 1,100 pounds complete. This bell will be known as the Star of the Sea and is dedicated to the Mother of God. The small bell weighing 500 pounds complete about 750 pounds will be known as the Guardian Angel bell. The bells chime the major chord FAC, and will no doubt be appreciated by all, especially when they chime together.
