Whether you are a long-time parishioner, relatively new to the parish, home from school, or visiting for the weekend, we are grateful that you have chosen to worship here at St. Louis Catholic Church. As Roman Catholics, the Holy Eucharist is the center of our lives, and the source or our mission. Nourished by the Word of God, we strive to instill family values, promote social justice, and foster life-long formation in the Catholic faith. We had a lot more help with set-up ad take-down this year and it made a big difference!! Country Store I would like to say a BIG thank you to all of the wonderful bakers, crafters and booth workers who donated their talents and time to this years Country Store. St. Louis Blood Drive St. Louis Church is sponsoring a community blood draw on Wednesday, October 4th at the Knights of Columbus Hall. Come any time between 12:00pm and 5:30pm. Respect Life Donations Members of the St. Louis Respect Life Committee will be collecting donations at the church exits next weekend, September 30th & October 1st. The proceeds will help fund various Pro-Life activities in our parish and community. Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be held on st, from 9:00am to 12:15pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. There is a $40.00 fee for books and materials. For reservations call or Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for parents who are having their first child Baptized. The next class will be offered on Tuesday, October 17th at 7:00pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. Please call the parish office to register Adoration Chapel The following hours are open for the Adoration Chapel: Sunday 10:00am, 12:00pm; Monday 3:00am; Friday 7:00am, 1:00pm; Saturday 3:30am, 5:00am. If you are able to fill one of these open hours, call Christy October Mass Attendance During the month of October the ushers will be taking count of the number of people attending each Mass. Call Mike Fritsch, , for more information. 30 th Annual Life Chain - Lawrenceburg We will gather along U.S. 50 between CVS Pharmacy and St. Lawrence Catholic Church in Lawrenceburg on st from 2:00pm 3:30pm. During the Life Chain, idle chatter, frivolity, and verbal or physical responses to motorists are strongly discouraged. LIFE CHAIN is a time for prayerful self-analysis, repentance, and serious commitment to helping end abortion in our nation. October is Respect Life Month and Sunday October 1st is Respect Life Sunday! Fr. Stan s Book Club The next book for Fr. Stan s Book Club is, Perelandra, by C.S. Lewis is available in the parish office. The suggested donation is $7 per book. The discussions for this book will be held Tuesday, Oct. 3rd at 6:30pm and Thursday, Oct. 5th at 9:30am. Our Lady of Fatima Prayer Service The closing prayer service to commemorate the 100th Anniversary of the apparitions of Our Lady of Fatima will be Friday, October 13th at 7:00pm at St. Louis Church. After the service, refreshments will be served in the parish office. 40 Days for Life Save the Date! Saturday, November 4th from 7:00am 7:00pm will be St. Louis Church's day to participate in the 40 Days for Life campaign at Planned Parenthood in Cincinnati. Super Sunday Bingo The first Super Sunday Bingo for the school year is scheduled for October 22nd. We need your help!
