(Joint Organization for Inner-City Needs) Ash Wednesday Food Collection as we prepare for the Lenten Season, let us remember our neighbors in need. The Social Action Commi ee will hold a food drive to benefit the Mid- Ohio Food Bank and the Dublin Food Pantry. Please bring your non-perishable food items to the Immke Room in Hendricks Hall before or after all Masses on Ash Wednesday. FASTING AND ABSTINENCE: ABSTINENCE from meat is to be observed by all Catholics 14 years of age and older on Ash Wednesday and on all Fridays of Lent. FASTING is to be observed on Ash Wednesday and Good Friday by all Catholics between the ages of 18 and 59. Those who are bound by this may take only one full meal. Two smaller meals are allowed as needed, but eating solid foods between meals is not permi ed; exceptions being those persons who are ill or have other medical conditions. Collection of all donations made during Lent will take place on Palm Sunday and Easter Sunday in the Gathering Area of the Church.

We will be collecting individual Easter candy, cookies, crackers and dried fruits during the weekends of March 5/6 and March 12/13. Donations can be placed in the marked boxes in the Immke Room of Hendricks Hall before or after all Masses. Assembly of Easter baskets will take place on Saturday, March 19 at 10:00 am in the school cafeteria. Families are asked to bring a loaf of bread and soup to share. Monies collected for the evening will go to Operation Rice Bowl. Stations of the Cross and Night Prayer will follow the Soup Supper at. CONFESSIONS scheduled every Saturday during Lent (except Holy Saturday, March 26) from 4:00 pm to 4:30 pm in the Church. Parish Lenten Penance Service will take place on Sunday, March 20, starting with Vespers at 5:00 pm in the Church. Visiting Diocesan priests will serve as confessors. Individual Confessions will be heard on Monday, March 21, from 7-8 pm in the Church. : During Lent you are invited to join a small group for prayer, reflection and sharing around the Sunday Scripture Readings. Small Group Faith Sharing will be offered for five weeks; Thursday, February 11, 18, 25 and March 3 and Monday, March 14, at 7:00 PM in.

4 PASSION, DEATH and RESURRECTION of JESUS: When recalling the Christmas story, we have in our mind a collage of pieces and bits from the Four Gospels as well as movies we have seen. This is also true when it comes to the events surrounding the Passion, Death and Resurrection of Jesus. Over the course of four sessions, we will look at the story as it is told in each of the four Gospels (Mark, Ma hew, Luke and John). Looking at similarities and differences. February 24 (Mark); March 2 (Ma hew); March 16 (Luke); and March 23 (John) at 9:30 AM or 7:00 PM in Berry Room of Hendricks Hall. Note you have two time choices LENTEN PRAYER CHALLENGE: Prayer knows no limitations of time or place. This Lent we are being invited to storm heaven with our prayer for peace. To encourage and inspire our personal focus on daily prayer, our parish will participate in a prayer challenge during Lent and the Easter Season. Our goal is to pray 10,000 hours as a parish during this most holy season. To log your time spent in prayer, simply go online to stbrigido ildare.org, scroll to the bo om of the page, and type in the minutes you prayed each day (or week), and click submit. Enter your prayer minutes daily, or save them up to enter once a week either way works.
