Whether you are a long-time parishioner, relatively new to the parish, home from school, or visiting for the weekend, we are grateful that you have chosen to worship here at St. Louis Catholic Church. As Roman Catholics, the Holy Eucharist is the center of our lives, and the source or our mission. com Samaritans Group Samaritans Group is a group of people from St. Louis, St. Anthony, and St. Nicholas Parishes who have joined together to help local needy residents with home repairs.

This means the Chapel closes at 6:30pm for Holy Thursday Mass but adoration will continue from 7:30pm until midnight in the Parish Activity Center.

If you or someone you know needs home repairs or access improvements done but cannot afford to pay for them, please call Barry Lecher or Dave Meyer , or samaritansgroup@outlook.com. Adoration Chapel Information Easter is quickly approaching and the Adoration Chapel will be closed for the Easter Triduum. This means the Chapel closes at 6:30pm for Holy Thursday Mass but adoration will continue from 7:30pm until midnight in the Parish Activity Center. The scheduled adorers for 7:00pm thru 11:00pm should plan to be in the Activity Center for their hour. The Chapel will reopen at noon on Easter Sunday. If you are able to fill an open hour, call Christy Super Sunday Bingo - Thank You! Super Sunday Bingo was a huge success -- more than 960 players attended! Thank you to all who volunteered your time and talent. In order to successfully serve our growing number of players, and to maximize our fundraising effort for St. Louis School, we need an even larger volunteer presence. Our next Super Sunday Bingo event is on October 21st. Jobs of all types are available. We hope we can count on your help! With Gratitude, St. Louis Bingo Committee St. Louis Cemetery Notice To aid in the beautification of our cemetery you are asked to abide by the cemetery regulation regarding grave decorations. Temporary grave decorations are permitted two days prior to: Easter, Mother s Day, Memorial Day, Father s Day, July 4th, Labor Day, Veteran s Day and Christmas. Decorations remaining 2 days after each of these dates will be removed and held for 2 weeks. After the holding period, cemetery personnel will discard the decorations. Permanent decorations are allowed year round if they are kept in a permanent vase or attached to the top of the stone. Any vases, flags, banners, shepherd hooks, eternal lights, etc., must be either mounted to the stone or in a sleeve in the foundation. 3-foot and 6-foot shepherd hooks with mounting bracket and an eternal light mounting bracket are available for purchase from the parish office. Baptism The newest member of the St. Louis Parish Family is Lillian Grace Zinser, daughter of Mark Zinser and Sydney Gabbard. Bulletin Deadlines Articles for the April 1st (Easter) Bulletin are due by 9:00am, Tuesday, March 20th. Parish Office Hours The St. Louis Parish Office will be open 8:00am 12:00pm on Wednesday, March 21st through Thursday, March 29th; and closed Friday, March 30th. Natural Family Planning A Natural Family Planning Class will be held on Sunday, April 8th, from 9:00am to 12:15pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. There is a $40.00 fee for books and materials. For reservations call or text Aly at or Mike at Baptism Preparation Class The Baptism preparation class is for parents who are having their first child Baptized. The next class will be offered on Tuesday, March 20th at 7:00pm in the Deanery Resource Center at St. Louis. Please call the parish office to register Holy Thursday Volunteers Needed Participants are needed for the foot washing at the Holy Thursday Mass on March 29th at 6:30pm. 4 6 N e w s & N o t e s W h a t s H a p p e n i n g Confirmation for Baptized Catholic Adults Active Catholics who have not yet been Confirmed are strongly encouraged to receive this sacrament at the annual Adult Confirmation taking place on Sunday, May 20th at 10:30am at Saints Peter and Paul Cathedral in Indianapolis.
