We meet in the upper room from 6-7 PM on Wednesday evening. Never been to a Bible study? Can only make a couple bible studies a month? No problem. No preparation needed. If you have questions, please contact Scott Okuno at or okuno.scott@gmail.com. NEW MEMBER RECEPTION will be Sunday, August 14. Those interested in joining should please speak to one of the pastors. For those who are not members of a Lutheran church, the next session of Celebrating God s Grace, a course which reviews the teachings and practices of the Lutheran Church, will begin on Sunday morning, September 11. WANTED Craft items, baked goods, gift cards, unwanted new or nearly new items for the Quilters' Silent Auction held in conjunction with the Waffle Breakfast on Sunday, July 31. Please contact EiLeen Miller ( ), Sandy Weiden ( ) or Arlene Krueger ( ) for more information. The Quilters, last year, donated over 300 quilts and 3,000 hours for our graduates, newly baptized babies, Orphan Grain Train, Little America, The Lower Room, Redeemer VBS, and various other charities. We receive many donations of fabric throughout the year, but still must buy our batting and various other supplies. (A roll of batting purchased wholesale that will finish approximately 15 quilts costs $39.13, an increase of about $8 per roll from last year.) Please consider supporting this mission work with a monetary donation. Donations can be marked Quilters and put in the offering plate or turned into the church office. Thank you! 2 Week of
