He stretched our imaginations once more over the lengths he was prepared go to demonstrate the depth of your love for us. And, as if that was not enough, you breathe new and everlasting life into our very beings, through the power of your Spirit. Triune God, Source of our lives, we worship and adore you. We have not yet accepted that when he walked among our fore bearers in faith, that he was us in the flesh. We fail to notice your spirits leading. We mistake our own enthusiasm for the sprits work. 9 THANK YOU REV. DAVID CASSIE The Rev. David G. Cassie is the former Executive Presbyter of the Presbytery of West Jersey (PCUSA). He and his wife, Dhyan, an Audiologist, were missionaries in Honduras and Mexico. In México they were involved in Church Planting with the Presbyterian Border Ministry. They also served in Honduras with the Christian Commission for Development (CCD: La Comisión Cristiana de Desarrollo), where Dave taught rural and urban pastors in CCD s theological extension program, while Dhyan worked in CCD s Health Division, training rural health workers in the prevention of hearing disorders. Dave has had a long relationship with the Presbyterian and Reformed Church of Cuba and was part of a Presbyterian Board of Pensions team that went there to do research to identify Presbyterians whose Pensions had been embargoed by the US Government. He is presently helping the Cuban Presbyterian Church preserve its historical documents. Dave was part of the West Jersey Presbytery team sent to Cuba to install two water purification plants. Dave is committed to the transformation of persons and congregations through local and international mission outreach Flower Dedications June 12th & 26th are still available for flower dedications. Youth Group will be TONIGHT at 6:30-8pm. Come with your ideas for Youth Sunday!! There is no seminarian this year so please see Mrs. Kolecki about signing up to help with Youth Group and to bring snack. If you have not done so already, please join our Youth Group Facebook Page: Collingswood Presbyterian Youth Group. It is a good way to keep in touch and up to date on youth group info and activities. YOUTH THIS MEANS YOU TOO! Session Highlights Lorrie Heuser will look into having the church archives stored at the Presbyterian Historical Society. This will potentially free up another room for use by the preschool. Session continues to talk with candidates for the interim pastor position. The 2015 Session minutes were approved without exception at the April 30 presbytery minutes review. Carlee Aversa, Giavonee Aversa, and Emma Standring were confirmed on May 15.
