Leader: Here, we gather as the Spirit's faithful children, People: seeking to praise God's name in every moment. *Hymn: Here in this Place STF #2236 *Prayer of Confession Leader: We long to be on the mountaintops of glory, but our lives are found in the valleys of hurtful words spoken aloud, of taking the dreams of others and dashing them to the ground. Let us confess our sins to the One who always listens, and transfigures us into forgiven people. Join me as we pray, saying, People: For one it is fear, for another it might be greed; for one it might be lust, for others it may be success - but we all have those 'gods' of this world which draw us away from you, O God. The seductions around us cry out so loudly, we are not able to hear you calling to us. The longing we have to impress you blinds us to your mercy already wrapping us in its embrace. Your forgiveness is a mystery wrapped in your love and revealed to us in this and every moment, Cloud of Grace. Nursery is for children aged birth to 3 years old. Our nursery workers are Madeline Almand, Brie Lynch, and Natalie Sperlunto. Parents are invited to sign-up in the nursery to come in and do an activity such as a song, read a book, or other activity with the older nursery children.

11 Sunday School: Last week in Sunday School we watched Prince of Egypt movie and talked about Moses. This week we will complete a craft about Moses crossing the Red Sea with his people. Please get your $25 to Mrs. Kolecki ASAP for 30 Hour Famine. Next week in Youth Group we will be discussing 30 hr. Famine and also gathering ideas for Youth Sunday. 12 2015 Flower Dedications February 22, March 15 & 29 are still available for flower dedications. Please sign up! If you would like to reserve a special date to dedicate the flowers which are used to decorate the Sanctuary in honor or memory of a loved one, use the book or contact Janis in the church office. The cost is $20. Please make checks payable to: Collingswood Presbyterian Church. The choir is rehearsing on Sundays now! To help make it easier for new people to join, we are rehearsing from 9-10 am before the service. You do not need to read music to be a part, only a love of singing Gods Word! In addition, a singing technique class will be run on Thursdays in the Bell room from 7:30 to 8:30. This class is open to anyone and you do not need to belong to the choir. Please consider being a part of our great music tradition at CPC! Woodworkers needed! We need to make screens for all of our Calvin Hall windows. We have a model and can give you materials. 13 Making Good Marriages Stronger You have done everything for the kids, spend all your energy on your job and home, cared for your neighbors, isn t it time to take care of you and your marriage? When we take relationships for granted, we look around and suddenly they are gone. Spend some time this Lent and make your relationship with your spouse stronger. What are the Biblical principles to sustain our relationships? Collingswood Presbyterian Church offers a four week course taught by Wanda Sevey, M. Div. LMST, Director of the New Jersey Council for Relationships and marriage therapist. 14 Last year CPC participated in It Takes A Village: Feed My Starving Children at First Presbyterian Church in Haddonfield. CPC contributed money and volunteers to pack on April 12th, Over 800 other volunteers packed 163,000 meals! Pretty amazing! This year the goal is 225,000 meals. So many children benefit from this food, and we can all be part of the effort to help them. So set aside two dates to help. This is a very worthy charity that you can help make a difference doing and/or contributing to within the next two months. Before we can pack this coming April, money must be raised to purchase the meals ingredients. The largest fundraiser is a Messiah Sing-Along to which you are cordially invited. Join singers, music lovers, and friends who just love to hum along in a memorable, musical afternoon at the 3rd annual Feed My Starving Children Messiah Sing-Along hosted by First Presbyterian Church in Haddonfield on Sunday, March 8, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. Sing-Along participants will join soloists Kelly Leibensperger, Maren Montalbano, Perry Brisbon, and Justin Hopkins and be accompanied by an all-star orchestra of musicians from ensembles including the Philly Pops and the Curtis Institute of Music. Each Messiah Sing-Along participant will play a role in the fight against hunger. The $20 registration fee covers the cost of 90 meals to be packed at the Feed My Starving Children packing event on April Register now at For more information, please contact Karen Mazak at The second date is, of course, April 18. 15 IHOC - Interfaith Homeless Outreach Council IHOC s flagship program is the Homeless Hospitality Network which serves up to twelve men in an innovative, intensive, thirty week program. The Homeless Hospitality Network runs from November until May, during which time homeless men, are housed with various member congregations. The congregations serve as hosts for two week periods, providing meals, a warm, secure place to sleep, and fellowship. During the first ten weeks, the men gain valuable lessons by attending life skills classes on money management, job seeking, and developing interpersonal relationships while also working with nonprofit organizations such as the Goodwill Industries. Following the required training, the men begin an intensive job search. Once they obtain a job, the men must deposit 80 percent of their salaries into an IHOC managed account to be held for them until they secure permanent housing. Throughout the entire program the men participate in intensive drug and alcohol counseling and are expected to attend a minimum of two Narcotics Anonymous and/or Alcoholics Anonymous meetings per week. In addition to all these rehabilitative programs the congregations also make a strong effort to engage the clients during their spare time and keep them active with various recreational activities. Our church will be hosting the 11 homeless men March 22nd through April 4th. With that said, we would like to invite anyone that is interested in helping during their stay to attend an informational meeting on Monday, 6:30 pm in the lounge. The committee will be looking for individual commitments to the many tasks that will need to be done. It is our prayer that you'll consider attending the meeting and commit to helping the Deacons in this worthwhile cause.

Program Synopsis: The Greatest Musical Wonder in The World a history of The Wanamaker Grand Court Organ by author and producer Richard L. Seifert, has been described as a Sight and Sound Spectacular - The Stentor News of the FOWO, and a riveting presentation on the Wanamaker Organ Bill Bragg of, Yesterday USA Radio. The program has received praise from author Dr. William A. Zulker John Wanamaker King of Merchants, and enthusiastic support from Macy s Grand Court Organist, Peter Richard Conte. This 90 minute musical documentary is a visual window into the former glory of the Wanamaker department store, with a unique perspective on Philadelphia s retail pioneer John Wanamaker. About the Producer Richard L. Seifert Mr. Seifert is a native of Merion, PA. He is a graduate of The Boston Conservatory of Music, Boston, MA; and holds a teaching credential from Western Washington University, Bellingham, WA. In 2012 Mr. Seifert relocated to Philadelphia, and teaches privately at Lower Merion Piano in Narberth.
