God of Easter: touch us with your grace. Prelude Welcome and Announcements We welcome you in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ! 4 Call to Worship Leader: When fear and doubts stroll through our doors: People: God stands beside us, whispering of peace. Leader: When we toss and turn late at night: People: God sits by our beds, singing lullabies of love. Leader: When we stumble through the shadows of sin: People: God illuminates the paths of goodness and joy. *Hymn - Christ Is Alive GTG #246 *Prayer of Confession Leader: : If our actions mirrored our words, if our hands were mentored by our hearts, if we walked the talk - we would be God's children. But too often, it is our silence, our doubts, our fears which tell others who we truly are. Let us confess to God how we have not been as faithful as we hope, as we pray, saying, ALL: God of empty tombs: Peter speaks with power and clarity of his faith, while we remain silent. The psalmist speaks of trusting in you, while our doubts overwhelm us. Jesus is read to come and grace us with peace, but our fears keep our hearts shuttered and locked. God of full hearts: your love can change us from scared people to children of grace. You can weed doubts from our hearts and plant seeds of joy in their place. You can silence the panic of our souls with the peace Jesus offers to each of us. Transform us into Easter people, through the power of Jesus Christ, our risen Lord and Savior.

7 RESPONSE TO THE WORD *Affirmation of Faith: Apostle s Creed I believe in God, the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth, And in Jesus Christ His only Son our Lord; who was conceived by the Holy Ghost, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hell; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sitteth on the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead. I believe in the Holy Ghost; the holy catholic church; the communion of saints; the forgiveness of sins; the resurrection of the body; and the life everlasting. Amen. Offering God has chosen us as instruments of mission. We carry good news, in word and deed, of a God who loves all people. Our gifts are a response of thanks and a symbol of our commitment. 10 Last week in Sunday School finished watching the Veggie Tales Movie we had started on Easter. We talked about how God made each of us special. This week we will be learning about How we should Not Worry that God will provide, but, we must care for what God Provides. We will also discuss Earth Day. Please ask your children about what we discussed in Sunday School We are in need of Sunday School Helpers. Please see Mrs. Kolecki if you would like to help. All dates are open to help the children with a craft. Please sign up to help with Sunday School. 11 MEMORIAL GARDEN Collingswood Presbyterian Church offers an opportunity for family members to remember loved ones who have died, wherever they may be buried, by engraving a paving brick with the names of the deceased. The cost is $ and will be installed by the church in the memorial garden. Inscriptions can be up to 4 lines with 14 spaces on each line. Please fill out a form found in the Narthex. For information call Karen Mazak ( ). Completed forms and checks, made payable to Collingswood Presbyterian Church - Memorial Garden, can be placed in the offering plate or sent to the church office. The choir is rehearsing on Sundays now! To help make it easier for new people to join, we are rehearsing from 9-10 am before the service. You do not need to read music to be a part, only a love of singing Gods Word! In addition, a singing technique class will be run on Thursdays in the Bell room from 7:30 to 8:30. This class is open to anyone and you do not need to belong to the choir. Please consider being a part of our great music tradition at CPC! Flowers are needed for April 26, May 3, 17, 31 Tax Day Bake Sale Today! Please Support the CPC Youth Group by purchasing some baked goods. We will have tasty treats for you to take home with you as you celebrate or mourn your tax returns. Proceeds will go towards the Mission trips this summer. MANY THANKS!! I d like to thank everyone who volunteered and everyone that made a good donation to the IHOC program. It was a huge success, in part due to your help. Your commitment was incredibly helpful and truly appreciated. Thanks again, it would not have been possible to have the men stay at our Church for 2 weeks without your help. I visited them once at your church and they were very very comfortable and happy to be there. 16 Urban Promise Is Proud to Present A Comedy Night with Taylor Mason Sunday, April 25, :00 pm - doors open 6:30 pm - show starts First Presbyterian Church at Haddonfield 20 Kings Highway East Admission is FREE. There will be an opportunity to give during the evening. 10th Annual Urban Promise Pedal for Promise Saturday, May 9, 2015 Burlington County, New Jersey Pedal for Promise offers three mileage options (15 miles, 30 miles, or metric century) for cyclists of all abilities and ages, from families to serious cyclists. Each course begins and ends at Olson Middle School and loops through scenic Burlington County, NJ. The ride offers stocked rest stops, SAG support, an event jersey (for those that have registered prior to April 27th), lunch at the finish, and exciting fundraising incentives.

17 Session Highlights Easter season attendance increased over the previous year. Special thanks to Pastor Kate, Will Powell and Gretchen Kolecki for all their hard work. Pastor Kate took the confirmation class to New York city. Confirmation will be on May 7th. The Kaleidoscope Kids preschool is moving along: 20 kids and 8 adults helped during two work days; state and environmental inspections will occur soon; Keemia has begun her work as director; and registrations are being accepted The Property Committee reported that fire extinguisher and general fire inspections have occurred; cleanout of the kitchen grease trap has been scheduled; the church is enrolled in the state's Direct Install energy efficiency program, which can help to pay for upgrades in lighting and in the heating and cooling systems; the lighting assessment for that program has begun Yearly staff reviews were done for Will Powell and Gretchen Kolecki The Session commends the deacons for the work of hosting homeless men through the IHOC program
