The Norbertine Center for Spirituality is offering An Evening of Baroque Art, Music and Monastic Beer on Thursday, January 31 from 6:30-8 p.m. The evening includes a sampling of art, religious and secular music, and beverages from Titletown Brewing Company with cheese pairings all designed to delight the heart, mind and soul! The cost for the evening is $15. If anyone is interested in attending this event, please contact Susan Kurek at the parish office, Carpooling can be arranged. What a fun way to get to know others in your 2 parish!

3 The 2013 parish picnic seems like a long way off but planning begins in March. We will need volunteers for the following areas for this year s picnic: General Picnic Chairman Raffle Tickets Food Tent Please consider one of these areas as your special ministry. Contact the Center for more information or to commit to one of these roles. Re-opening the Doors to Marriage A retreat for engaged couples who have been through an annulment, who have lost a spouse to death, or are bringing stepchildren into marriage. Date: Saturday, February 2 Location: Our Lady of Lourdes Parish De Pere Time: 9:00am to 4:00pm MAGAZINE SALE Sacred Heart Catholic School students and Faith Formation students will be selling magazines from January 29 - February 6. You may also order online...watch next week s bulletin for more information. The funds raised will be used to support the day-to-day operations of the school and the Faith Formation program. 3 Green Bay Marriage Encounter Looking for a weekend away for just the two of you? A Marriage Encounter Weekend offers you this experience. It s a time to renew your relationship away from the everyday distractions of life. It s an opportunity to strengthen your communication and promote greater intimacy in your life together. You don t need a Marriage Encounter Weekend, but you DESERVE one. 4 Sacred Heart Religious education Catholic Schools Week 2013 Please join us for a prayer service on Monday, January 28 at 8:25am. We have a great school! Come hear testimonials from students, staff, and parents before Mass on January 31 and February 3 at 10:00 Mass. Thursday s Mass will be at 10:00am and each child is inviting a special person. All students and special persons will enjoy a special lunch of ham and all the trimmings. Our wonderful school volunteers will be remembered in the Mass intentions on Thursday and recognized in a special ceremony after Mass in the cafeteria. The teachers are treating the volunteers to lunch! The children will have a special display in the Gathering space and some special items waiting in the pews for all parishioners to enjoy next weekend. Parents are cordially welcome to hear about this Catholic high school. Adult Education Mark your calendars for a Lenten Series on our Catholic religion! We will be viewing four videos from the Catholicism Series by Fr. Robert Barron on Friday mornings from 9:30-11:00am on February 22, March 1, 8 and 15 and on Monday evenings from 6:30-8:00pm on February 18, 25, March 4 and 11. These middle school gatherings, led by high school and adult leaders, are a great time for people of all ages to grow in their faith. Extreme Faith Camp: June Extreme Faith Camp (held at Camp Tekawitha) offers an exciting summer camp experience for middle school teens. During the week filled with fun activities and awesome prayer and worship, campers will build new friendships with other teens as they find themselves drawing closer to Jesus Christ.
