4 Your weekly contribution to St. Kevin s Parish made on February 14 th was $3, Thank you for the support you give to your Parish. This amount includes the envelope and loose collection from all three Sunday Masses last weekend. ================== BREWED AND STEEPED THEOLOGY: This Tuesday morning session follows our morning Mass in Capreol, in the basement board room. Topics for discussion may be submitted to Fr. Michael beforehand, either through or via the collection basket. The topic to be discussed this coming Tuesday is: What are angels? And if we all have a Guardian Angel, how can we connect with our Angel? Everyone is welcome to attend, to participate or just listen, and to enjoy this informal discussion over a cup of coffee or tea. Memorial Easter Flowers There are envelopes available for parishioners who are interested in making a donation to the parish for Easter flowers. We suggest this donation be given in memory of a deceased loved one. The names of loved ones who are being remembered will be mentioned in the Easter bulletin. Any donation will be accepted. Lenten Retreat at Villa Loyola Theme: Praying the Great Hymns and Psalms of Lent Dates: From Friday March 11 (7pm) to Sunday, March 13 (1pm) 2016 Fr. Gilles Mongeau, s.j. will lead us in meditation on the great hymns and psalms of Lent as a way of helping us come closer to Christ who has emptied himself out of love for us. Director: Fr. PARISH RECONCILIATION: In addition to our Saturday mornings, when Fr. Michael is available to hear confessions at our, there will also be a Parish Reconciliation Service on Wednesday, March 16 th at our at 7pm. Morning Conversations with the Word Come join us for coffee and a guided teaching and discussion of the Sunday Gospel every Friday morning at 10:00 a.m. Facilitator: Pat Partington ( ) Overwhelmed for the reception that the Ladies of the Catholic Women's League gave me for my retirement of sacristan. Yes it was the time to "let go". I'll still be around serving the Church. Right now I do not know what God has in reserve for me. Love you all and will love you more for I'll have more time to do so. Meatless Soup Supper on Friday night, Our Lady of Peace Site, between 5 and 6:30pm. Bring a friend/neighbor/family member anyone and come. A simple meal, shared with others, on the day we remember that Christ died in love for us.

6 Hearts on Fire Retreat is coming to the Diocese. This is a spiritual experience for young adults (18 to 35) and will be presented by Jesuits studying Theology from Regis College in Toronto. It focuses on living faith in daily life, discernment, and learning about Ignatius Spirituality. It will be held at University of Sudbury, Canisius Hall, from Friday, 4 March 7:00 p.m. to Saturday, 5 March, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Billeting is available for people from out of town. A minimal contribution of $25.00 will help cover some expenses of food and the presenters. Registration deadline is 29 February Invite your friends. To all those in Sudbury, if you are interested in billeting young adults coming from out of town, then please contact us. We need homes to receive them for one night, Friday, 4 March or for two nights, 4-5 March. Contact Fr. If you would like to register your child for these Sacraments, please ask Fr. Michael for a registration form following any Sunday Mass. In addition to our regular Friday morning Mass this week, Fr. Michael will celebrate Mass at the Elizabeth Center that morning at 10:30 for the residents, family, staff and friends. All are welcome.

PRIEST S MEETING: The priests of the Sudbury Region will be meeting this week on Thursday afternoon to discuss various issues pertaining to our region.
