2 J UNE 2, 2013 PAGE 2 A Message From Fr. Jack s we enter the summer season, please remember that there A is nothing more sacred than attending Mass. Please appear and approach the Mass as an encounter with the Sacred. Make sure that clothing is modest and not objectionable in any way: strapless tops, beach wear and short shorts are just not appropriate for worship. Clothes do not have to be new or expensive or fancy to be modest. If you were invited to dinner with the person you admire more than anyone in the world, what would you wear? The Grace Board of Trustees is in need of a member from Nativity Parish. Do you see the great value of Catholic day school education? This is a chance to mold the foundation of the Grace System. (Luke 9:17) The story of the Loaves and Fishes shows us that when we share what we have - even if it doesn't seem like that much - miracles can happen! Do not think that your gift is too small or insignificant. God blesses all the gifts we offer and makes them wondrous. ONLINE GIVING Are you going to your cottage this summer? Please make check payable to Nativity Parish and note "Tower Builder" in the memo. Please list the exact wording you want on the plaque. Thank you! The tower should always be a reminder to the congregation and the community that there is one God and that He is "my fortress and high tower" in the words of David. The tower is equipped to contain either three bells, chimes, or carillons. Did you know that this tower was in the original plans of Nativity Parish 50 years ago? A typed document by Fr. Al Lison in 1967 shows that. However, this tower was never constructed due to funding. The vision will now come true and we will construct a bell tower with your support and donations. Thank you for your generosity. FIRESIDE BUS TRIP Join a group on Wednesday, June 26th for Fireside s professional musical, Little Shop of Horrors. It is a fun-filled, delightful spoof of all those great old 1950 s science fiction movies. Seymour, the nerdy clerk at a down-on-its luck flower shop, loves the shop s beautiful cashier Audrey and sets out to impress her by growing the world s most unusual plant. Hilarity ensues when he discovers that the plant requires more than just water and sun to thrive. Get on the bus and enjoy a fabulous dinner and show at the Fireside in Fort Atkinson for $ Call Vicki at Nativity Parish, ext. 203 to sign up. DO YOU BELIEVE IN MIRACLES?
