We gave $322 to the A&A Alexandrina Center, which is a Catholic Crisis Pregnancy help center located on Webster and Walnut Streets. The Confirmation program consist of 8 weekly sessions beginning August 27th and concluding October 12th. These sessions will prepare individuals for Confirmation on October 8th. No Fee! Join the Esto Vir men s apostolate of Green Bay as they sponsor the 2 nd annual Walk for Vocations. This family friendly walk will take place on Saturday, August 5, 2017 on the University of Wisconsin Green Bay Campus. This is a great way to walk as disciples, foster vocations, pray, and witness to each other. Many of our seminarians will be present to walk with you. For just a small donation, you will receive a t-shirt and refreshments along the way. Register your family or yourself at Seminarian Golf Outing August 6th 2 pm at Northbrook Country Club. Golfers are needed to pair with the seminarians. Cost is $35. Includes golf cart, 9 holes shotgun scramble followed by a baked chicken dinner at 5 pm. Cost for the dinner alone is $14. 5 RCIA BEGINS SOON Are you interested in becoming a Catholic? Would you like to be baptized and become a member of the Catholic Church? Are you one of our Protestant brothers and sisters who would like to become Catholic and join us at the Eucharistic table? Are you a Catholic who has never been confirmed? Or do you know someone in these situations that may respond to your invitation for them to join the Catholic faith? The process of bringing adults into the Church, known as the catechumenate or RCIA, will be starting this September at Cathedral and St. John s. If you are interested in learning more, contact the Cathedral office at (cathedral.sfx@gmail.com), St. John s office at (sjeoffice@sbcglobal.net), or Tom and Ann Vorpahl at (avorp2008@gmail.com). Sessions begin Sunday, September 17th after the 9 a.m. Mass. We are seeking catechists to help with the RCIA classes and sponsors who are willing to walk with the candidates during this faith experience. If you are willing to share your Catholic faith and learn even more along the way, please contact the office or the Vorpahl s as listed above CREDO FAITH FORMATION & SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION Registration for the upcoming faith formation year is now in progress. Parents, if you have not enrolled your child/teen for classes yet, please do so immediately. We need to plan for classes and catechists. The complete Credo Faith Formation schedule, registration forms and Confirmation schedule can be found on the parish website If you are registering for Confirmation only, use the same registration form. Enrollment is open to children and teens in grades 1-12 in public, home, private and Catholic day school. Any questions call the faith formation office at CATECHISTS NEEDED Catechists are needed for the faith formation year. If you are a person who enjoys working with youth and has a love for teaching and sharing the Catholic faith, please consider the invitation to serve in the role of catechist.
