5 happenings at first church STEPHEN MINISTRY TRAINING PROGRAM An information meeting on the next Stephen Ministry training program will be held Sunday, June 24, 11:45-12:30 in Room 110. If you are interested, but cannot attend this meeting, please call or Stephen Ministry leader Marge Terdal at or SUMMER SUNDAY SCHOOL FOR CHILDREN Starting TODAY one Sunday School class for all children ages 3-12 will be meeting in Room 134. This will be a one-room Sunday school experience, building relationships between kids of all ages. Please consider teaching one or two Sundays. There are so many opportunities for adults, families, teens, and kids to unplug and head to summer camp. The United Methodist Church maintains and runs sites all over Oregon and Idaho where people can be in God s Creation and community with one another. To learn more about Camp and Retreat Ministry, visit INVITATION TO JOIN SUMMER CHOIR Rehearsals for the Summer Choir begin promptly at 9:30 a.m. in the Sanctuary. We rehearse the anthem for that day and then sing it for the worship service. No Thursday evening rehearsals until fall. This provides a great opportunity to sing in the choir!
