The Rectory, Pastoral Care & Religious Ed Offices will be closed Monday, April 2 for Easter URGENT PLEA Fellow parishioners; A co-worker and good friend of ours has taken ill. In a matter of a very short period of time both of his kidneys are operating at about 12% of their normal function. He desperately needs a kidney transplant. 7 April 1, St. Francis of Assisi Baby Corner Needs Donations: Huggies diapers sizes, 3,4,5 and 6. We also need baby wipes and shampoo. We thank you so much for your generosity as always. Donations should be placed in the wooden bins in the Hallway to left of the vestibule. First Saturday devotions at St. 11:00am. Join us for Confession & Rosary Holy Mass at 11:30am DIVINE WILL STUDY GROUP Thursdays, 1-3pm in the basement auditorium here at St. Francis. Is God Calling You to Grow in Your Spirituality? An open invitation to the men of St. Francis of Assisi: It doesn t matter what age you are: 20,30,40 or older because in our society today, many men cannot find the time in their busy lives to grow in their spirituality. The men s retreat offers a way to spend some special time with other men in growing in our Catholic faith. The retreat begins on Friday, April 6, 2018 at 7:00pm with dinner and prayer and ends Sunday, April 8th after the 11:00am Mass. The retreat offers men a special time and place to experience God s peace and graces in their lives. The retreat is held at the Passionist Retreat House located in Jamaica Estates, all meals are served in the dining room, all retreatants have their own private bedroom, bathrooms are only steps away. BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP: St. Mary s Parish in East Islip is offering a free 8 week support group for adults who are struggling to cope with the death of a loved one. Registration is required for this group, which begins on Wednesday, May 9 th from 7:00-9:00 pm. The group will run for 8 consecu ve weeks through June 27 th. Refreshments will be served.
