3 January 24, Jeff Froh has spoken at the Masses these last two weekends inviting parents to participate in a wonderful family and parenting program he is launching here in the Parish. More details are in the bulletin. He hopes to connect with parents of school age children. The aim is to show the relevance of the Christian message to the hectic and pressure-driven lifestyle of parents and children today. Jeff is a Professor of Psychology at Hofstra University and author of the acclaimed book Making Grateful Kids. If you re a parent, don t miss this one. General Needs, an organization based in the Commack/East Northport area, assists needy and homeless veterans. They are seeking volunteers to crochet or knit warm blankets (50" x 60") for a needy veteran. The blankets will be distributed at Christmas, so they must be completed by mid-december.
