Living Stewardship We are grateful this week for all stewards in our parish who, imitating the example of Jesus, reach out to others by bringing the Eucharist to the sick, hospitalized, homebound and elderly. April 15-Third Sunday of Easter: In this Sunday s Gospel, Jesus explains the meaning of the scriptures. Like the disciples, when we offer and receive forgiveness our hearts burn because we encounter the risen Christ within us. In a matter of a very short period of time both of his kidneys are operating at about 12% of their normal function. He desperately needs a kidney transplant.
