14 Page 14 Eucharistic Adoration The Blessed Sacrament is exposed for Adoration on the main altar in the church every Wednesday afternoon, 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Please join us for prayer and Adoration! 2:00 p.m. Rosary for Life; 3:00 p.m. Chaplet of Divine Mercy. There is no Adoration the Wednesday of Holy Week. In Memoriam Should you like to donate the candles, bread, wine for the celebration of the Eucharist, especially in memory of a loved one, please contact the Parish Office, , ext 10 All are invited to the recitation of the Rosary: After the 9 am daily mass and Tuesday evenings, 7:30 p.m. All are welcome to join the monthly healing service that takes place at 9 a.m. on the first Saturday of every month. You can pray for anyone, including yourself, who you feel has a need for physical, as well as emotional healing. 15 Page 15 Around our Area and our Diocese St. Patrick Southold: Night of Intercessory Prayer for Priests. April 10, from 6-10 pm. The names of the 400 priests from this diocese will be read in half hour segments by lectors and volunteers from other parishes. All parishioners are invited to come and pray, even for a short time, over the course of the 4 hours. For more information; St. Agnes Cathedral: Saint Gianna Feast Day, Saturday, April 28, 2018, 5:00 pm, Vigil Mass - 5th Sunday of Easter. Part of the liturgy will include a blessing in thanksgiving for those celebrating the gift of a child, those planning now or in the future for a child and those who are expecting a child. Golden Wedding Anniversary Celebrations: This fall, couples that have been married fifty years or more will be honored at liturgies on Sunday, September 23 at the Church of Saint Rose of Lima in Massapequa and on Sunday, October 21 at the Church of Christ the King in Commack. Both liturgies will begin at 2:30 pm. Couples may register for ONE liturgy. Registration forms and complete instructions can be obtained at the rectory. Registration must be received by the Office of Worship by Sept. 6th for the September 23rd liturgy and by October 4th for the October 21st liturgy.
