Because You Prayed: Pastor Pat s Thailand mission trip is going well and the Lord continues to bless us with new opportunities to share his love (John 3:16)! Health Needs: Pray for Zeb Waterhouse as he recovers from knee surgery. Continue to pray for Stacy Coyle (on hospice), Julie Scales (stroke rehab), Jazmin Hall (cancer treatments), Camilla Tarry (radiation treatments), Jeremy Jones (auto accident), Shirley Caulfield (knee surgery) and Kathy Grant (brain surgery) as they are cared for (Psalm 92:12-14). Church Life and Ministries: Lift up the Youth Group as they host their annual German Sausage Lunch today and our local Teen Challenge Ranch as they help many find freedom in Christ (John 8:31b-32). Community, National and International Concerns: Remember our local schools and the many young lives they impact in our communities (Proverbs 9:10). Multiply/MB Mission: M & V in South Asia Pray for: Their holistic ministry aimed at employing and empowering local artisans Their work in a children s home, and supporting the national church (Acts 1:8).

TODAY S GUEST SPEAKER Mike Skaggs has been pastoring churches for the past 25 years and in 2015 began as a volunteer at the Teen Challenge Men s Home as the Education Director. He is now a full time Men s Supervisor at the home. We welcome Mike as our guest speaker this morning. GERMAN SAUSAGE LUNCH Our Annual Youth Group German Sausage Fundraiser Lunch is today in the Fellowship Center following the morning service. If you did not get a chance to buy a ticket from one or our youth there are a limited number of tickets being sold at the door. Tickets are $10 and meals are available for Dine-In and Take-Out. The youth thank you for your support! WEST COAST MENNONITE MEN S CHORUS 2019 The 2019 WCMMC Kick-Off Dinner is on Saturday, February 2, at Reedley MB Church in Reedley, Calif., with registration at 4:00 pm and Dinner at 5:00 pm. 6 LADIES! Bunco Night Calling all Bunco lovers and those that don't have any clue but want to come out for an evening of fun. All ladies are invited to join the SMBC Women's Ministry team on Monday, January 28 in the church dining room at 6:30 PM when the doors open. The game will begin at 7 PM!
