With the purchase of a book you will also receive a free SMBC Centennial Video on a DVD/Blue Ray disc set. The Disc set is also available in the church office for a suggested donation of $10. JOB OPPORTUNITY The Pacific District Conference of Mennonite Brethren Churches (PDC) is seeking to fill the position of Administrative Assistant. FLOWERS Lowell Bergman was born on January 12, 1931 in Dalhart, Texas. He was the youngest of seven children. His family farmed in that area until the Dust Bowl hit. So when Lowell was 3 the family moved to Shafter. He and I (Betty) grew up in the church, married, and had children, and were involved in the music in the church until the Lord called him home on November 14, So in loving memory of Lowell our family has placed the flowers in the sanctuary today Betty Bergman, Lucy Frost and Gordon Bergman. Thank you for being a loving church family.

3 The Annual SMBY Fundraiser GERMAN SAUSAGE LUNCH is on Sunday, January 27, 2019 Serving from 12:00-1:30 pm Immediately following the Worship Service. By Integrity Hosanna! Music), UBP, CCLI # WEST COAST MENNONITE MEN S CHORUS 2019 Imagine the sound of over 150 men singing together in four -part harmony--it is a thrilling experience! Some may say that there is no sound to equal that of a group of men blending their voices together in musical worship. The West Coast Mennonite Men's Chorus is made up of men from all walks of life and varying backgrounds. Many are from Mennonite backgrounds; many come from other churches and denominations. The common bond is a love of singing and using that gift to edify worship and inspire those who listen. If you can envision yourself joining this wonderful experience and have enjoyed singing in four-part harmony, please consider becoming a member of WCMMC. There are no auditions or tryouts required. Several scheduled practice sessions held at area churches are followed by approximately four concerts in the spring. Funds raised through free-will offerings at each concert help support the projects associated with disaster relief and humanitarian efforts throughout the world. The 2019 WCMMC Kick-Off Dinner is on Saturday, February 2, at Reedley MB Church in Reedley, Calif., with registration at 4:00 pm and Dinner at 5:00 pm.
