2 Psalm 95:1-7 (NLT) 1 Come, let us sing to the LORD! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. 2 Let us come to him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. 3 For the LORD is a great God, a great King above all gods. 4 He holds in his hands the depths of the earth and the mightiest mountains.

3 Psalm 95:1-7 (NLT) 5 The sea belongs to him, for he made it. His hands formed the dry land, too. 6 Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, 7 for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. If only you would listen to his voice today!

26 1 Kings 18:41-45 Elijah Prays for Rain 41 Then Elijah said to Ahab, Go get something to eat and drink, for I hear a mighty rainstorm coming! 42 So Ahab went to eat and drink. But Elijah climbed to the top of Mount Carmel and bowed low to the ground and prayed with his face between his knees. 43 Then he said to his servant, Go and look out toward the sea. The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, I didn t see anything.

27 1 Kings 18:41-45 Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. 44 Finally the seventh time, his servant told him, I saw a little cloud about the size of a man s hand rising from the sea. Then Elijah shouted, Hurry to Ahab and tell him, Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don t hurry, the rain will stop you! 45 And soon the sky was black with clouds. A heavy wind brought a terrific rainstorm, and Ahab left quickly for Jezreel.
