Recitation of the Rosary every Saturday at 4:30 (before the 5:00 PM Mass) Confessions Saturdays from 4:00 to 5:00 and by appointment Baptisms Baptisms are held on the second Sunday of every month at 1:30 PM. Please call the Rectory at least one month before to make arrangements. Baptismal instructions for parents and Godparents are required. St. Frances de Chantal Church 190 Hollywood Avenue Bronx, NY St. Theresa School students in grades Pre-K through 2 began their Christmas celebration by attending their annual Breakfast with Santa last week. They enjoyed baked goodies and got to tell Santa what they really wanted under their tree! This week, the entire school will celebrate with the annual Christmas concert featuring all the students singing their favorite hymns and carols. ACTIVE PARISHIONER STATUS We receive many requests for parishioners to be godparents or sponsors for the Sacraments of Baptism and Confirmation and to rightfully enjoy the number of services offered at St. Theresa Church. Part of the request is to be able to verify that a person is an active parishioner of St. Theresa s. An active parishioner is:.properly registered in the parish.faithfully attends Mass on Sundays and Holy Days.Participates in parish activities/ministries when possible.uses the parish envelope system for donations These are the main factors that will be considered in making the determination. ADVENT RECONCILIATION MONDAY Archbishop Dolan designated Monday, December 19 Advent Reconciliation Monday. All parishes in the Archdiocese of New York are expected to provide the Sacrament of Reconciliation for all the Faithful. Confessions will be heard from 3:00PM to 5:00PM and again from 7:00PM to 8:00PM. RCIA We would like to Congratulate: Orlando Ortega, Diana Rodriguez, Devin Lee Sostre Michael Kennedy on their celebration of the Right of Acceptance into the Order of Catechumens. Let us pray for them as they embark on this spiritual journey. FOURTH SUNDAY OF ADVENT Thank you God for the joy you give us. We ask that as we wait for all your promises to come true and for Christ to come again, that you would remain present with us.
