Joseph Tran as our parish administrator. A brief bio about Father Joseph Thuong Tran. He was born in Saigon, Vietnam, on May 28, He began his spiritual calling as an altar server at an early age. Along with millions of Vietnamese refugees, Fr. Joseph and his family arrived in the US in He attended seminary school in Wisconsin, Iowa and completed his priesthood education at Mount Angel Seminary, Oregon. Fr. Joseph was ordained on June 11, 2005 and has served at parishes for St. Norbert, Holy Family Cathedral, St. Callistus (now Christ Cathedral), and St. Polycarp. Please keep Fr. Joseph in your prayers as he continues to serve our Lord at our Parish.

2 REST IN GOD S LOVE & PEACE Our Parish Community wishes to extend our sympathy to the family and friends of all the faithful departed, especially Thuan Duc Nguyen & Mildred Provost. bâü ctü á{ _ yx Éy cütçxü SUNDAY S REFLECTION: The Richness of Life in Christ Today we have the beautiful story of the woman promised a child, the wonderful exhortation about life in Christ, and a powerful instruction from Jesus. An embarrassment of riches? Not if we take Jesus' words about "welcome" to heart. The many challenges and blessings offered to us today by Elisha, Paul, and Jesus should be cause for rejoicing, and welcomed heartily into our lives. And, like the great treat that they are, they should be enjoyed and shared generously with others. Today's reading from Romans was chosen very early in the liturgical life of the Church to be the sole apostolic instruction received by candidates for baptism at the Easter Vigil. This illustrates its importance as a core belief, and as a means of comprehending the story of the Resurrection. Christ's resurrection is not merely a story about something that he underwent once upon a time, but it is our story, the story of how we joined the other members of the one Body of Christ, the church. We were not only dead, but we were buried; not ultimately buried, but raised to eternal life with Christ. EUCHARISTIC ADORATION will be cancelled for this month due to Independence Day Holiday. We will reopen on Wednesday, July 5. The Parish Campus will be closed on July 3 & 4 at 12:00pm. We will continue to celebrate Mass at the regular times to thank the Lord for our wonderful country and community. Thank you all for making this year s Feast Day Celebration the greatest day ever! For a one day event, we were able to net $42K. This money will help pay for new A/V equipment for the new pastoral center, we still did a fantastic job. This amount was not possible without YOU so thank you!

We invite you (parents, teachers, college students.) to consider being God's messenger to spread the Good News and open the children's hearts to the Lord. As a person of faith, you can share your own faith experiences. This can be your love of God, your gratitude for God's many gifts, and your personal friendship with Jesus. You could volunteer as a main teacher, assistant, office or special events helper. Classes are open on weekends and weekdays from kindergarten through high school.
