Each of us has a way in which we can best grow and serve the Lord in love. We call this a Vocation. A call to priesthood in the Church is much more than just an individual, personal desire to serve and lead. While the call comes from God, it is mediated through the People of God, the Church. 4 SEVENTH SUNDAY OF ORDINARY TIME / SÉPTIMO DOMINGO EN EL TIEMPO ORDINARIO St. Stephen Respect Life Ministry Invites St. Stephen Respect Life Ministry invites ALL to an event at St. Stephen the Martyr Church Social Hall Friday, March 1 and Saturday, March 2. Join us 7:30 8:00pm for distribution of 40 Days for Life Kent materials (signs, etc.). All are welcome! BLESSED ASHES FOR HOMEBOUND Many people are not able to attend an Ash Wednesday, so we will be providing small packets of blessed ashes to take home. Following the 9am on Ash Wednesday, March 6, we will have a work party to prepare the packets. If you are interested and able to help, please meet in the Mother Teresa Room at 10am. We had 21 donors register, 1 first time donor and brought back 21 donations, SAVING 63 LIVES - THANKS SO MUCH! Each donation SAVES 3 LIVES AND THERE IS NO SUBSITUTE FOR YOU! We need 800 daily donations to support the 90 hospitals we support! Our next blood drive is May 21st. 4
