If you or someone you know is interested in finding out more about the possibility of becoming Catholic, please contact Father Grogan or Dr. Sandi Chakeres at the Parish Office, Blessing of Pets Our annual Blessing of Pets on the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 4th on the front esplanade of church. All are welcome, with or without pets. Mark your calendars, and spread the word! We begin promptly at 7:00 p.m., rain or shine, and the blessing lasts about 10 minutes. Communal Celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick There will be a Communal Celebration of the Sacrament of the Anointing of the Sick at our 11:00 a.m. Mass on Sunday, October 7th. Annunciation School Faith Formation News Our weekly celebration of Morning Prayer with students and faculty, preschool-8th grade, is Thursday, September 27 at 9:30 a.m. in church. All are welcome to join us for prayer! September 27 is the feast of Saint Vincent de Paul, one of the patrons of our 4th grade class at Annunciation Catholic School. September 29 is the Feast of Saints Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael, Archangels. Saint Gabriel is the secondary patron of Annunciation Parish and School, and is one of the patron saints of our kindergarten class, as well! For more information about Faith Formation at Annunciation School, please contact our Director of Faith Formation, Dr. Sandi Chakeres at Pray for Persecuted Christians! Please remember to pray everyday for our Brothers and Sisters who experience hardship, suffering, and persecution for our Christian faith. Please pray for those Christians who will give their lives this day in faithful witness to Jesus Christ. National Novena for the Legal Protection of Human Life The U.S. bishops urge our participation each Friday in a nationwide Novena for the Legal Protection of Human Life taking place August 3 September 28. Par ticipants will r e- ceive weekly or text reminders to pray and fast, along with little-known facts about Roe v. Wade to share with others.
