4 1 SUNDAY, JANUARY 28, 2018 O WORSHIP THE KING O worship the King, all glorious above, and gratefully sing His wonderful love. Our Shield and Defender, the Ancient of Days, pavilioned in splendor, and girded with praise. O tell of His might, O sing of His grace, whose robe is the light, whose canopy space. His chariots of wrath the deep thunder clouds form, and dark is His path on the wings of the storm. Thy bountiful care, what tongue can recite? It breathes in the air, it shines in the light. It streams from the hills, it descends to the plain, and sweetly distills in the dew and the rain. Frail children of dust, and feeble as frail, in Thee do we trust, nor find Thee to fail: Thy mercies how tender, how firm to the end, our Maker, Defender, Redeemer, and Friend. PRAISE AND GLORIFY Come praise and glorify our God, the Father of our Lord. In Christ He has in heav nly realms, His blessings on us poured. For pure and blameless in His sight He destined us to be, and now we ve been adopted through His Son eternally. To the praise of Your glory, to the praise of Your mercy and grace. To the praise of Your glory, You are the God who saves. Come praise and glorify our God, who gives His grace in Christ. In Him our sins are washed away; redeemed through sacrifice. In Him God has made known to us the myst ry of His will, that Christ should be the Head of all, His purpose to fulfill. 5 2 SEE, WHAT A MORNING See what a morning, gloriously bright with the dawning of hope in Jerusalem. Folded, the graveclothes, tomb filled with light, as the angels announce, Christ is risen! See God s salvation plan, wrought in love, borne in pain, paid in sacrifice; Fulfilled in Christ, the Man, for He lives: Christ is risen from the dead. See Mary weeping, Where is He laid? as in sorrow she turns from the empty tomb, hears a voice speaking, calling her name; It s the Master, the Lord, raised to life again! One with the Father, Ancient of Days, through the Spirit who clothes faith with certainty. Honor and blessing, glory and praise to the King, crowned with pow r and authority.
