Give Thanks *Prayer of Confession Almighty and loving God, in the light of your glory we see the evil we have done, and our sin is ever before us. WORSHIP NOTES Easter is more than a single day of celebration it is a season that spans 50 days beyond the Day of Resurrection and the Day of Pentecost. Today is the fourth Sunday of Easter. Our anthem today, composed by John Purifoy, weaves together three spirituals: Here's One, Give Me Jesus, and I Want Jesus to Walk With Me. The focus of these is our walk with Christ, day by day. Habitat for Humanity of Anderson County invites you to a Mortgage-burning ceremony on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of First Presbyterian Church Please join the Hunter family as they celebrate the burning of their mortgage. FPC is pleased to host this celebration, bringing full circle the ecumenical building project we helped lead in the late 1990s.
