I admire the virtues which adorned your soul: love of God and neighbor, humility, obedience, patience, purity and the spirit of sacrifice. Help me to imitate your example in my state of life. Through the goodness and mercy of God, Who has blessed you with so many graces which led you to the true faith and to a high degree of holiness, pray to God for me and help me. Obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist so that I may love Holy Mass as you did and receive Holy Communion as often as I can. Teach me also to be devoted to my crucified Savior as you were, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him Who suffered so much for love of me. Most of all, I beg you to pray for me that I may avoid sin, lead a holy life and save my soul. Amen.

You can donate a basket alone or with a friend. Items needed for baskets are: turkey or ham, stuffing, gravy, cranberry sauce, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, fresh vegetables, salad mix & dressing, rolls, butter, milk, eggs, fruit, dessert, coffee, tea, cold beverages and a foil pan. KATERI MIDNIGHT RUN St. Kateri is doing a Midnight Run on Friday, November 20 th, for the homeless, and we are in need of: men s jeans, boots, winter jackets, socks and underwear (brand new only! ) sleeping bags and $5 gift cards (McDonalds, CVS). Items will be collected in marked boxes in the Narthex this weekend. Help make this ministry a success. ST. We are kicking off the Saint Kateri Tekakwitha International Dinners with a Italian Night Saturday, November 21 st right after the 5 pm Mass. Bring the family for a delicious buffet style Italian dinner of: baked ziti or lasagna, pasta fagioli, sausage & peppers, eggplant parmigan, penne pasta with choice of marinara, alfredo, or garlic & butter sauce, meatballs, chicken marsala, fresh mozzarella & tomato, tossed salad, Italian bread and Italian desserts. FAITH FORMATION NEWS Congratulations Congratulations to the 91 young adults of our parish who received the Sacrament of Confirmation on October 25 th and November 1 st. We pray that you will use the gifts of the Holy Spirit to be a sign of God's Love in everything that you do! 2 nd Year Students First Reconciliation Mini-Retreats and Parent meetings are this week. Each child and one parent are required to attend ONE of the sessions: Thursday November 12 th 6 8 pm Saturday November 14 th 10 am Noon Sunday November 15 th 3:30 5:30pm All activities will take place in the Church and Church Meeting room. CHRISTMAS ORNAMENT FUNDRAISER An extremely worthwhile ministry that we started last year is the Midnight Runs. This program brings food and clothing to those families literally living on the streets of New York City. The parish has been extremely generous in providing clothing and sleeping bags, as well as donating time for this program. However, we do need to raise money to conduct these midnight runs. We need funds to prepare sandwiches for up to 250 people, buy some items not donated such as underwear, socks and toiletries, and rent a van to transport all these items. The profit from these beautiful St. Kateri Tekakwitha Christmas ornaments will go to help fund these Mid-Night Runs. Thank you, as always for your generosity. Operation Christmas Child partners with churches worldwide to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After receiving shoebox gifts, many children are catechized through our Bible study course, The Greatest Journey, where they learn to become faithful followers of Christ and share their faith with others. The outreach program has reached more than 100 million children living in poverty and war. St. Kateri has touched the lives of more than 400 children and will influence more again this year. There is time left to make your own shoebox filled with much needed and loving gifts. Please choose a boy or girl, ages 2-14 years old, and include: non-fragrance soap, school supplies, hard candy, toys, balls, toy cars, hair accessories, etc., and $7 shipping donation. We are very honored to host this event! Nina Ricci, Peter Krauss and our three choirs will be participating along with several groups from various faith communities throughout the county.
