Through the goodness and mercy of God, Who has blessed you with so many graces which led you to the true faith and to a high degree of holiness, pray to God for me and help me. Obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist so that I may love Holy Mass as you did and receive Holy Communion as often as I can. Teach me also to be devoted to my crucified Savior as you were, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him Who suffered so much for love of me. Most of all, I beg you to pray for me that I may avoid sin, lead a holy life and save my soul. Amen.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD Shine God s Light! Operation Christmas Child partners with churches worldwide to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. After receiving shoebox gifts, many children are catechized through a Bible study course, The Greatest Journey, where they learn to become faithful followers of Christ and share their faith with others. The outreach program has reached more than 100 million children living in poverty and war. St. Kateri has touched the lives of more than 670 children by packing shoeboxes and will influence more this year. What can you do to join this great ministry to children in need of God s love and joy? Pack a shoebox at home, donate items needed to pack shoeboxes at the packing party, and/or join us to pack and prepare hundreds of boxes filled with gifts. Samaritanspurse.org provides information to prepare a Shoebox. Suggested items needed: toothbrushes, toothpaste, non-fragrance soap, school supplies, hard candy, toys, balls, cars, hair accessories etc. Donated items may be dropped off at the Faith Formation Building. Packing Party-Sunday, November 20, 2:30-4:30 pm All are invited to pack donated supplies in the shoeboxes, make crafts, write a letter, and watch a video about how the children s lives are impacted. A $7 shipping donation is appreciated. Donated items and all completed shoeboxes are due by Thursday November 17 th.
