I admire the virtues which adorned your soul: love of God and neighbor, humility, obedience, patience, purity and the spirit of sacrifice. Help me to imitate your example in my state of life. Through the goodness and mercy of God, Who has blessed you with so many graces which led you to the true faith and to a high degree of holiness, pray to God for me and help me. Obtain for me a very fervent devotion to the Holy Eucharist so that I may love Holy Mass as you did and receive Holy Communion as often as I can. Teach me also to be devoted to my crucified Savior as you were, that I may cheerfully bear my daily crosses for love of Him Who suffered so much for love of me. Most of all, I beg you to pray for me that I may avoid sin, lead a holy life and save my soul. Amen.

FAITH FORMATION NEWS Information will go home this week to 7 th and 8 th grade students regarding our NYC Church History Trip, which will be on Tuesday, October 4 th (Election Day No School). Permission slips and money are due in the Faith Formation office by Thursday, October 30 th. 9 th Grade Confirmation Students Confirmation Rehearsal: 4:30 6:00 pm in the Church. Students and their sponsors are required to attend the rehearsal (a parent may fill in for the sponsor, if not available). Thursday, 10/23: Those being confirmed Sunday, 10/26 (K Z). Robes will be distributed at the conclusion of rehearsal! TLC + TEENS LOVING CHRIST + TLC 9 th graders and all high school students are encouraged to be involved in +TLC+ events. MEMORIAL STONE ENGRAVINGS We are providing opportunities to purchase memorial stones for the four Eagle Scout projects on our property. Forms are available to sign up for these memorials in the narthex and the Parish Office: the Flag Pole area for the armed service men and women, the Jesus and the Children area for children and young people, the Gazebo and the Rosary Garden for general memorials. These are available for both living and deceased. The cost of the memorials is $150. Proceeds built the baseball field on the property. ADULT BIBLE CLASS Bible study classes are canceled. OPERATION CHIRSTMAS CHILD Girls and boys in more than 150 countries who live in poverty and war have experienced the joy of Christmas, faith, and hope from God's love, thanks to caring people like you who have packed over 100 million shoebox gifts since Last year, St. Kateri parishioners and faith formation children packed 170 boxes and touched the lives of children in Ecuador and Kenya. Shoeboxes or a plastic container will be filled with these items: Hygiene items (non-fragrance soap and no liquids), school supplies, hard candy/lollipops, toys (dolls, balls, cars, hair accessories, etc) and a $7 shipping donation. Please drop these items off by November 6 th in the Faith Formation Building. Packing Party- Saturday, November 8, 4-5 pm Eighth graders can receive 2 hours of credit for their community service. Party participants will, organize the gifts, pack the shoeboxes, make crafts and watch a video about how this project impacts children in poverty and war. Please help us reach out to the children of the world by sharing a gift that tells them they are loved by others and by Jesus Christ.
