I am happy to confirm officially the current leadership for our School: Deacon David Kierski is now the School Administrator and Head of School. Up to now, it was for the interim but with the long range challenge for school advancement and with discernment of growth and development, it is best to conduct a Principal search slowly and deliberately. Deacon Kierski has spent the last six months streamlining, clarifying and unifying the policies and procedures of our school. The faculty, especially the Lead Teachers, Mr Bill Rogers and Ms Sarah Anderson, have rallied for the betterment of the school. We can all be proud of the energy and intelligence that our School Administrator brings to our betterment. Deacon Kierski will continue giving time as Operations Director with particular focus on budget analysis and performance and parish efficiency. In this series he will address the nature of our journey to eternal life and God s great plan for us in Christ Jesus. He will also address the nature and role of loss, which is part of the human condition, and point to a spirituality of suffering. And finally, rooted in a deeper understanding of the journey and God s great plan, we ll be able to get the most out of our Lenten journey and experience with even deeper appreciation the joy of Easter! 5 SAINT PAUL CATHOLIC SCHOOL Our enrollment process has begun for the school year. Families can register online or in person. We have play dates set up for Monday mornings this Winter and Spring to allow prospective parents to see the school in a fun way. You can find us at National Catholic Schools Week is the annual celebration of Catholic education in the United States. It starts the last Sunday in January and runs all week, which in 2016 is January 31 - February 6. The theme for the National Catholic Schools Week 2016 is Catholic Schools: Communities of Faith, Knowledge and Service. Saint Paul School will observe the annual celebration week with Masses, open houses and other activities for students, families, parishioners and community members. Through these events, Saint Paul will focus on the value Catholic education provides to young people and its contributions to our church, our communities and our nation. Summer Camp SAINTS SUMMER CAMP Saint Paul School is excited to announce the 2016 Saints Summer Camp! The Saint Paul Catholic School Summer Camp Program exists to support parents of Saint Paul Catholic Church and the wider New Bern Community. We strive to offer students a safe, and nurturing faith environment. Campers dates will be Monday through Friday from June to August. A fun filled day (7:30AM to 5:00PM) with an Academic and Athletic emphasis.
