Truly, we are living in the end of the last days of which Paul spoke in II Timothy 3:1-5, This know also in the last days perilous times shall come. Teaching of morals as we were taught seems to be no more, for everything goes now from the church goers to non-churched. For men shall be lovers of their own selves, from politicians, ministers judges, law enforcers, rulers, etc. God-fearing men are needed as never before. It seems as we have forgotten that God is holding us accountable. We are covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, without natural affection, truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those who are good, traitors, heady, high minded, lovers of pleasure more than lovers of God; having of form of godliness, but denying the power thereof; from such, turn away. Don't forget that God has the last say. "Doom" is a judgment, From the Pastor s Desk:: Pastor Lynn W. Beanum sentence of condemnation, fate/destiny; "wicked" is morally bad or wrong, acting or done with evil intent, without any moral consideration, mischievous. Proverbs 16:25 states, There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Jesus put forth a parable of the wheat and tares, that was sowed by the enemy. When the servants wanted to gather/separate them, Jesus said, nay, lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn (Matthew 13:30). The end for the wicked is hell. Psalm 9:17 states, The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God. Thanks be to Jesus, we now have redemption to avoid hell's punishment. We that believe, repent, be baptized, and filled with the Holy Ghost, shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned (Mark 16:16). To God be all the honor, praise and glory. Let's walk pleasing to the Lord, for the best is yet to come for His chosen people. Amen. Verse for the Month But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. 2 A Word from Our Editor... Rest and Relaxation By: Sister Marilyn Silver Greetings dear readers. We have approached the time of the year when we look forward to resting and relaxing. Many vacations are planned well in advance. Families get away and spend quality time together, and children are excited about getting a summer break. Teachers are overwhelmed to have time for themselves and their families. Rest and relaxation are essential for the body, mind and soul. Rest is defined as, cease work or movement in order to relax, refresh oneself, or recover strength (google.com). There is a true rest that only God can give. Matthew 11:28-30 (KJV) states, Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. The beginning of this verse tells us where to go when we are worn and torn from life s battles. God instructs us to come unto Him. Heeding His advice is the best thing we can do for our bodies, souls and minds. God promises a rest for the weary. In the process of refreshing ourselves and recovering our strength, the Lord also tells us to learn of Him. As we begin to learn of the Lord, and of His meek and lowly spirit toward us, we find that our burdens are not so heavy. God will carry them for us. He will go before us. He will hide us under His wings. Beloved, Don't let the problems get you down Don't let the situation make you frown Don't let the hard times get the best of you Hold your head up and walk on through I know it's hard to see your way Devil throwing darkness all in your way Don't throw in the towel stay in the fight Jesus will be there He's the way the truth and the light. Everything will be alright!!! (Source: <a href=" Rest in Jesus, for He cares for you. Be blessed. Temple Elders Speak... Page 2 LOVE By: Elder Robert Johnson Greetings, in the miraculous name of Jesus Christ. We are encouraged to follow the way of Love. John 3:16 states, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Let us love as God has loved. John 13:34-35 says, A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another. Read I Corinthians 1:1-10, Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. 2 And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing. 3 And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, and have not charity, it profiteth me nothing. 4 Charity suffereth long, and is kind; charity envieth not; charity vaunteth not itself, is not puffed up, 5 Doth not behave itself unseemly, seeketh not her own, is not easily provoked, thinketh no evil; 6 Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; 7 Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. 8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. 9 For we know in part, and we prophesy in part. 10 But when that which is perfect is come, then that which is in part shall be done away. Seek the Lord while He may be found, call upon Him, because in these last and evil days we need the Love of Jesus. We have got to have it; or we won t make it to that prepared place called Heaven. 3 Temple Men Speak... Don t forget to be an Inspiration By: Bro. Bryant Sims We are often times so busy that we rarely have time to recognize how others are coping with life s struggles. There are many opportunities that are missed to encourage someone because we are too busy to slow down to realize what others are going through. In this day and time, people are becoming more and more overwhelmed with day to day challenges. We, who are of the household of faith may have been through some of those very same challenges and made it through with God s help. And, because we made it through, we are now stronger and are able to help others. So we cannot take on a mindset that others will be able to make it through life s problems just as easily. For one, they may be relying on their own knowledge and strength rather than faith. And they may not realize that our own knowledge and strength, by itself, is limited. This is why our testimony to others is so important. We, through Christ, can give others a hope that they never had before. So just by taking the time to hear someone out may be all that is needed to prevent them from making the wrong decision or giving up. Galatians 6:2 says to Bear ye one another s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ. One of the easiest ways to help someone cope with their burdens or issues is just to hear them out. So let s take time to stop, listen and give an example of what God has brought us through. P r a y H a r d e s t w h e n i t i s H a r d e s t t o p r a y! 2016 TOD Souvenir Booklet **Underway!!! 5 Temple Women Speak... GOD, HEAR OUR PRAYER! By: Sister Teresa Jackson Have you ever said a prayer and then wondered, Is Anybody Listening? Well, even if you feel distanced from God you can be sure that He is never distant from you. You can also be sure that He hears every spoken need. God hears each spoken need and responds in His own time, according to His perfect plan. We as human being can not understand. So, even when we don t comprehend God s plan, we can be comforted n the knowledge that He is with us, He hears us, and that He loves us. Sometimes we are tempted to just give up on life. But remember that Jesus loves us. There are times we are so impatient and we think that God will not answer. God always answers. He never fails. Be still, abide in Him. God loves you! H e a r my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come unto thee (Psalm 102:1). 47th Pastoral Celebration On Saturday, June 11th, an outpouring of the Holy Ghost was experienced as we worshipped the Lord in the beauty of holiness during our great 47 (plus) year Pastoral Celebration. The gathering began with a 3pm banquet in the church dining hall. The Honorees, Pastor Lynn and our Church Mother Ruby Beanum were seated at the head table with an array of menu choices. Our special guest speaker, Bishop Ronald Demery and other guests joined them there. The food, fellowship and atmosphere were blessed and enjoyable. As we moved the celebration into the sanctuary the spirit of the Lord was already moving in the building. Through praise and worship the anointing of the Lord was ushered into the midst of us. Souls were renewed, revived and refreshed. A cloud of witnesses joined in one accord and the Lord took us higher. Songs of Zion rang out, souls moved from the pews to aisles, and down to the altar to experience a closer walk with God. Through the move of the Holy Ghost, the outlined program was changed. God was in control and His glory filled the Temple. The Bible Way choir rendered soul-searching songs. Bishop Ronald Demery, our guest speaker, brought forth a fiery message from the Lord. He read from, Acts 16: and his topic was Chosen to Change the Atmosphere. Our hearts did burn with the fire of the Lord. We thank God for every participant and for the overwhelming support of the saints. Continue to pray for our Pastor and Church Mother. We thank God for our Pastor s Aid President, Sis. Mary Porter, her staff workers, church family and all who worked so faithfully to bless Pastor & Mother Beanum for their years of sacrifice and labor. May God be with each of us, as we all go forward in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Volume 36, Issue 7 - July 3, 2016 Page 5

8 TEMPLE YOUTH SPEAK SUBMITTED BY: SISTER TARA LEWEIS Little Christian -Author Unknown Little Christians came to church all the time. One fell out with the preacher, and then there were nine. Little Christians stayed up late, One over slept on Sunday then there were eight. Little Christians on their way to heaven, One took the low road then there were seven. Little Christians, chirping like chicks, One didn't like singing, then there were six. Little Christians seemed very much alive, One took a vacation then there were five. Little Christians pulling for heaven s shore, One stopped to take a rest then there were four. Little Christians each as busy as a bee, One got his feelings hurt then there were three. Little Christians couldn't decide what to do, One couldn't have his way then there were two. Little Christians each won one more, Now don't you see two and two make four? Little Christians worked early and late Each brought one Now there were eight Little Christians if they doubled as before In just seven Sundays we have one thousand and twenty four. In this jingle there is a lesson true You belong either to the building or to the wrecking crew. Page 8 Temple Of Deliverance HCG, Inc., Newsletter
9 A R E G I V E R S Joy in the Caregiver s Walk (Posted by Sharon )~Excerpts O R N E R Scripture says that because of the joy set before Him, Jesus endured the cross (Hebrews 12:2). He knew the horrors of the cross would win His people's salvation and His return to Heaven and the Father. So this too gives us the ability through Him to endure and not grow weary. It also gives us the ability to experience joy even in the midst of heartache and challenges. This is because joy is not the same thing as happiness which is dependent on perfect circumstances. Circumstances can change and temporarily ruffle us. Yet true joy is permanent and internal, because it is based on the cross and our trust in the Lord. It is based on the fact that we know that this life is very temporary, and a perfect eternity lies ahead of us. It is further based on God's Holy Spirit living in us. In spite of this we all become discouraged at times. That is why we need to spend time in God's Word every day. Psalm 19 says that God's Word revives our soul, makes us wise, gives us joy, and gives us light or perspective. God's Word is perfect, trustworthy, always right, and pure. The Word of God is the most precious thing imaginable. In order to experience these blessings we must spend time in His Word, however, Family care-giving can be immensely challenging and overwhelming, so can all of life. It is easy to be like Martha, in Luke 10:41 in the Bible - who was "worried and upset about many things." Jesus reminds her, however, in the following verse that only one thing is needed. That one thing is to spend time in God's Word. I know, dear caregiver, that you are very busy. Yet spending time in God's Word is vital. It is vital to your joy even in the overwhelming moments. Thank You! We greatly appreciate the many readers just like yourself, who have contributed to the Newsletter with your prayers, encouragements and monetary blessings! It s because of you and, of course, Our Lord & Savior Jesus Christ that we are able to distribute this monthly newsletter to thousands of souls across the nation.
